Looking for a place for relative and tired the facility today. So impressed with the entire facility and professionalism of the director that gave us a tour. They are flexible and caring. We plan on moving family member to this facility.

Absolutely Disappointed – Do Not Recommend the Independent Living Side I placed my family member at The Enclave in Gilbert with the hope that as their needs progressed, they could remain in a consistent, stable community. Sadly, the Independent Living side has proven to be completely subpar and not at all what was promised. The staff shows little to no concern for independent residents. Apartments are not cleaned as agreed upon in the lease, and any maintenance requests require multiple follow-ups—usually 4 to 5 calls or more—just to get basic issues addressed. The sense of urgency or care simply isn't there. It often feels like the only priority is collecting rent each month. Staff turnover is another huge red flag. From the front desk to accounting to the director’s office, it feels like a revolving door. Continuity and reliability are clearly not part of the culture here. One of the most disturbing moments was when I called for a welfare check on my family member and was flat-out told by the front desk that they "could not leave the desk" and that since the residents were independent, "the staff doesn’t care." That comment alone was shocking and deeply upsetting. No one in a caregiving environment should ever say such a thing. I sincerely hope the Assisted Living and Memory Care sides offer a higher standard of care, but based on this experience, I have no confidence in the community as a whole. I will be relocating my loved one immediately. If you’re considering The Enclave for independent living, I urge you to look elsewhere. The lack of follow-through, care, and basic respect for residents is inexcusable.

We have been in independent living for 2 1/2 years and consider it perfect for our age (mid 80's) and health (slight mobility problems). The unit, a patio home is, for us, the right size and the provided amenities are exactly what we need. What little maintenance we have needed has been prompt and professional. We recently attended a Diamondback baseball game which and had great seats, transportation provided and at a reasonable price. I don't know a better recommendation beyond my son's in-laws needing Senior living recently and after visiting us, decided on another Enclave unit closer to their preferred locale.

I have lived here comfortably for the last year, having lived alone, the five years previously. I love my apartment. It is home to me. I have met many people and shared many a laugh. I enjoy many of the activities that are available for all to enjoy. I find the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our chef, cooks and wait staff do a great job of accommodating us. We are a diverse group and have different likes and dislikes. We have a weekly menu that lists a special, but we also have a hard menu that we can order from if we prefer something else. You know the saying “you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all the time”. It is a comfort to know Assisted Living is available if and when I need it. We also have in-home PT and OT I currently am doing both and have high praise for the therapists. The entire staff is very approachable, I cannot think of a single one I do not like or appreciate. Oh, there is a washer and dryer in every apartment, I don’t have to go down the hall to do laundry!!

Do not move your family member into this facility. My parents lived there together in independent living for 2 years, and then after my mother passed, my father lived in assisted living. The care received there was terrible. There is constant neglect of services paid for and not received. The turn over is ridiculous. The management is terrible. While a couple kind staff members are in the midst of the team, as a whole the Enclave has been a terrible experience for my loved ones. Now management is trying to nickle and dime me in the form of hundreds of dollars as a "final bill". The food is terrible (I was told that Spectrum communities are committed to spending no more that $1.50 per day on meals for seniors which translates into terrible, frozen, unhealthy food). Many of the residents and families are moving out of this community. Choose a better home for your loved one.
