I am an outside vendor who provides a specific service to skilled nursing facilities throughout the Midwest. I have been in hundreds of nursing centers. This lovely home in Overbrook Kansas is at the top of the list! It would take me a long time to provide all of the examples of the cleanliness of the facility, the feeling and atmosphere when one walks in, the caring nature of the staff, the loving interactions between residents and resident family members or visitors, the meaningful activities, seeing children with geriatrics, fulfilling 90 plus year old people’s birthday wishes, etc etc etc I could keep going. The owner also has a facility in Wellsville, Kansas which is nice. All I can say is I would drive further if I had a loved one who needed 24 hour care to be able to be at this building.

My Grandma has been staying here 3 yrs now. I can't say enough about how great the staff are with the residents! I would recommend anyone's family if they need long-term care to try and get in here!

My grandmother says that the staff here treat her really good and that she seems to be surprisingly content with her living arrangemens.

Clean and no bad smells. Good management. Competitive prices. Lose residents clothing often and seem to have the approach of every one shares each others clothing. Questionable care beyond basics, such as dental hygiene when residents cant do this on own. Really high staff roll over. Medication schedule inconsistent. Have some nice nurses and some really mean ones that residents are agraid of.
