The Fountains at Washington House

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the new luxury Independent Living suites at Cogir of Alexandria - Fillmore. This community is absolutely stunning, and the longevity of the team speaks volumes about the culture and care here. The suites are impressively spacious—up to 1,250 square feet—and come fully equipped with modern amenities, including full kitchens, full-size washers and dryers, and generous closet and storage space. A special shoutout to Chef Marcus, whose culinary creativity and flair for mixology take dining to the next level. I consistently hear glowing feedback from residents about both the food and the overall experience.

Zeeshan is like family to my mother and I. There is no one better to work with and have help guide you and your family through the hard and emotional process of having to place a loved one outside of the familial home for their own health and safety. Zeeshan is respon-sive, kind and caring and will stop at nothing to make sure he finds a place within budget that is the perfect fit for your loved one. He is familiar with every facility in DC metro area, seriously, and can explain the pros and cons of each place during your search. Even once your loved one is placed Zeeshan continues to check in to see how they are doing and ensure that the placement is the right fit. He knows all of his clients by name, has a stellar reputation at all of the homes as evidenced by the owner/managers/resident reactions to him as he walked into the places we visited and is the nicest person to work with. He truly cares and goes above and beyond this is more than just a job for him but a true calling.

My recent visit to Elancé left me thoroughly impressed. The staff members were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and dedicated to the well-being of the residents. The facility was well-maintained, and the residents seemed genuinely happy and well-cared for. The attention to detail and the personalized care plans were outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which truly felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend Elancé to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones.

I visited this community last week My first impression was impressive to say the least. I watched a staff member who was clearly not on the clock help a resident who was having a hard time parking, get safely into her designated spot. The love, patience and kindness was evident. I met many others on my tour who clearly were wonderful caregivers as well. That made me feel really good! I showed up with very little notice, and yet the executive director, Ray, took the time to take me on an extensive tour. While many of the apartments were move in ready and look great, it was truly exciting to learn about the renovation vision as well! A rooftop bar with the most spectacular views……I’ll just leave it there. What a great place!
