The Goldton at Southaven

My mother really likes it at The Goldton at Southaven. She has told me numerous times that the staff is so nice to her. The food is great and they have numerous activities for the residents to participate in. Also the rooms are very spacious.

We were blessed in finding The Goldton in Southaven when searching for a place for my brother. The staff was welcoming, understanding and accommodating. He has been living there for over a year is happy with the experience. The communications with me have been excellent. I am comforted knowing that is his good care.

We are absolutely delighted with The Goldton of Southaven! The facility and the staff have consistently proven to be the best, always prioritizing the residents' well-being and providing invaluable support to the families. The staff has been incredibly supportive and caring throughout the process of getting my father settled into his new home. They have helped me and my daughter navigate some tough decisions, promptly answered all our questions, and provided the information we needed. Lorenzo Dorse Jr., the Executive Director, is one of the best I have ever seen. He is dedicated, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any needs that arise. We also deeply appreciate Antoinette Douglas, the Wellness Director, for her unwavering dedication. She has given my father the meticulous attention he requires. I can call or text her anytime, and she always responds quickly and helps address any concerns or needs promptly. The overall facility is very nice and clean. The staff members are always friendly, greeting us and asking if we need anything. The Goldton is a very safe and secure place, and we are beyond grateful for my father’s new home. He absolutely loves all the activities available for the residents. The Goldton of Southaven has made this significant decision in my life much easier. My daughter and I feel very confident about our decision to choose The Goldton for my father's new home in March 2025. Every day, he tells me about the wonderful people and how much he loves being there. This reassurance allows me to sleep peacefully at night, knowing my father is being well taken care of at all times. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I highly recommend making The Goldton your first stop.

The Goldton and their staff have been a blessing to our family! Hannah and Lorenzo were above and beyond helpful as we got started, and they’ve continued to be supportive. The nurses have all been kind and informative. We are very grateful!

My grandmother is a resident here and I must say the nursing staff here are outstanding. Though, I was informed the other day that the pay is barely enough to survive off of in this economy. Our healthcare workers deserve fair pay for taking care of our loved ones ❤️
