Manor House of Opelika

When I walked into The Harbor, I already knew that my mother didn't qualify to stay there but I had to know for sure. Thank You Sharon Lee. You knew up front that my mom didn't qualify and still took the time to hear my story. You also gave me the info about getting on the right track to find some help. I left out a lot more informed on steps to take and felt a little more at peace. The talk we had was more than I have gotten from anyone so far. The place is beautiful and so peaceful and calm. I definitely came out more informed and calmer than before our visit. The Harbor sure is blessed to have you!

What a difference in our experience when we moved here. Mom went to what was supposed to be the premier facility in Auburn and after 5 trips to the ER in 9 weeks. We discussed the moving her. Best thing we have done here so far. This staff knows how to work with memory care patients. Sharon Lee is a blessing. The staff makes me feel confident that my mother is in a facility that is medically competent. They also provide PAs or NP if needed so you don't have to drag your loved one to the doctor every time. They are a full service facility that makes everything so easy during a difficult time.

My mom moved to The Harbor several months ago. I could not be happier how she has adjusted. The staff is so loving and caring and treats her like family. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved one to make The Harbor their home.

Our Mother was a recent resident of The Harbor. While there she received wonderful care, in a home like setting and the staff treated her with respect and kindness. Sharon, the Executive Director, went out of her way to answer our questions and she was very patient with Mom. She and her staff did everything possible to help make this transition easier. It can be difficult to find a good place for those with dementia, but The Harbor manages to be a cut above the rest of the options in the Opelika area.

I appreciate the excellent nursing staff and compassionate caregivers at the Harbor. They do very well to maintain a pleasant and cheerful environment. My mom lives here and we have been very happy!
