THE HERITAGE AT LEGACY

We met with Jackie Matzen for about 45 minutes Wednesday afternoon and it was a very informative and pleasant get together. She answered our many questions and then we visited a soon-to-be-vacant apartment which is especially helpful. We'll be meeting with Jackie again soon. We took no photos or videos.

We had a great first visit with Jackie and gave her a $1,000 down payment to secure a place for our father which she assured us was 100% refundable if he did not move in there. After Heritage interviewed him, they rejected him for assisted living and determined that he belonged in memory care. He did not and is now thriving at a different assisted living community. After Heritage rejected him, they deposited our check and have not given us our money back even after repeated requests to do so. Beware of the "Refundable Deposit" for this place. Its not true.

My parents chose to live in Heritage at Legacy March 2019, first in Independent Living then Assisted Living. The apartments are beautiful. More important is the wonderful care they are provided by the loving, kind and respectful staff. The food is very good! Calls for assistance are answered quickly. The nursing staff is exceptional. Everyone from the front desk and office staff are terrific to work with. Housekeeping crew is super and the van drivers are a great asset. My parents are very happy to be residents of Heritage at Legacy.

I've lived here just over a year and have enjoyed every minute. The staff here makes me feel right at home. They have many activities to keep you busy. A few of my favorites are the lunch trip to Joe Tess Place, the tour of Memorial Stadium in Lincoln and of course Happy Hour every Friday!

Caring staff made moving easy. The DON goes above and beyond to make things work for each patient! She communicates with her staff to ensure patient experience to be a positive one! We are very happy!
