I moved mom there in 2022. First year and half things were good. Then had to upgrade the care level which is more money and the care went out the window. There’s a few of the med aids that are exceptional. The help they go through is incredible worst than a packing house. The management as well as certain staff will give you 5 star lip service with a forked tongue and promise you everything and do nothing lying right to your face. If you stand up for your loved one as I did and be a thorn in their side as I was out there for 3 years till they had enough of me standing up for mom and lied about she might become a wandering risk at night and gave her a 30 day eviction notice. With that lie I can’t do nothing legally because assisted living side isn’t memory care so the doors don’t lock when leaving. They took all of mom’s money hid behind a bs lie to basically get rid of me for standing up for mom. So if you want 5star lip service and don’t mind being lied to you’re face then by all means heritage at sagewood is the place.

I cannot say enough good things about The Heritage! All of their staff are so kind, caring and supportive in how they treat and interact with the residents and family members! My Mom had a black out episode after lunch last week, and within seconds, much of the staff were there, to include the head nurse (she must have ran!). All was okay, but they monitored my Mom and worked with me in communicating with her doctor. Thank you!

The Heritage at Sagewood is a wonderful assisted living facility in Grand Island. My grandma has been there just under a year. Before she moved in we worried about her eating proper meals, taking her medications, and how much contact she was getting others. We are so glad she has found this community of people. All staff greet each resident by name and most even know the names of all the family. We love keeping up with their Facebook page and seeing all the wonderful daily activities the residents get to partake in.

Our family has received phenomenal service from the first day we met with Erica ,and started the arduous process of looking for assisted living homes in Grand Island. Heritage stands head and shoulders above their competition with high quality and nutritious food, a welcoming and generous staff and happy residents. It is light, clean, and we feel like our family needs will be meet with warm smiles, knowledgeable medical staff, and top of the line care.
