THE HOMESTEAD OF LEAVENWORTH

My husband has been at Homestead for over a year. He came from a previous facility that was vastly lacking. Here Valerie and staff maintains a respectful caring for my husband. Valerie communicates changes, schedules immediately as well as any concerns in the moment. Homestead has a hairdresser, eye doctor, dental care, podiatrist. The food is cooked on site with opportunity for family/ friends to participate! Recommend this home 100%

Very caring and understanding staff, the building is always made to feel like home with single apartment type settings, all the patient care is person centered, great community!

Every resident is unique. I worked with staff to be sure they understood my mom's specific needs. She is safe, warm, and fed by a caring staff who can do this much better than I was doing for her.

Executive Director was horrible. Staff intentionally ignored my family members call button. Had to file for small claims after prescription glasses and a few other items disappeared. Executive Director was horribly rude to me. Left alone in shower. Don't understand any circumstances take your loved one here! Found pills on the floor. Food was frequently lousy.

I feel that my mom is being well cared-for here and the staff are so kind and helpful. After living alone for many years we thought it would be such a struggle to fit her in someplace new, but her personality and social spirit rekindled after moving in and going to meals and activities here. I highly recommend you call Valerie if you are wanting to find a safe and loving place for your parent or significant other who needs daily routine attention. Thank you thank you thank you!
