THE HOMESTEAD OF LENEXA

My Mother is receiving excellent and very compassionate care from Doug and LemLem. These employees make my Mother feel safe and heard. They are very patient and kind to her. Thank you for having such incredible employees.

We have turned this facility into the State of Kansas for elder abuse/neglect. Additionally, we have an attorney on retainer for our family that will be taking the mistreatment of our grandmother into the JoCo court system. She has been at the Lenexa location for a few years and we went to see her today and she has been completely mistreated and neglected. For my grandmother's privacy I will not go into details but we are moving her out of this facility effective immediately. Do not put your loved on at this facility. One of the employees encouraged us to "turn in the facility".... absolutely outrageous how horrible this place treated our grandmother.. and I'm sure she is not the only victim.

Can’t say enough good things about Homestead. I am always kept informed about how my folks are doing. I feel like they really care about my parents. Great interaction with the nursing staff and director and the activity director, Jennifer. Nothing is perfect and covid is really making it difficult but I feel that this place is just small enough to have a more personal touch with the residents. Also, one of the first facilities in Kansas to get the vaccine! So appreciate that.

Giving Homestead Assisted Living of Lenexa, 87th and Pflumn, 5 stars. A smaller place that feels like home. The staff is caring and communication is excellent. Our mother was there for 2 1/2 years and received wonderful care. A big thank you to the staff. Going to miss all of you. Jackie Grigsby

We moved my Grandmother to Homestead from another living facility about 2 years ago. Our experience with Homestead of Lenexa was fantastic, the entire staff was so loving and caring, everyone from the chef (Deborah) to the aids, nurses, and administrators were fantastic to my Grandmother. Homestead's facilities are not as new as the facility she was at prior, but each and every day her experience and time spent at Homestead was far superior. My Grandmother was not the easiest resident for them but their staff was always excellent and patient with her and the love they showed her was beautiful. The administrators and nurse have repeatedly gone out of their way to help my family during hard times. I would recommend Homestead 100%!
