My dad has been a resident here since 2021 on the independent living side. In 2024, he was transitioned over to the Assisted Living facility there. Transition wasn’t too hard, just adjusting. The employees there have been wonderful. Being in another state and him there in San Antonio, has been challenging, but the staff have always been so wonderful working with me. The past couple of months have been a little challenging, but Teresa Rodger’s has been such a godsend for my dad and myself. I truly appreciate all the personal dedication she has willingly been providing. Grateful to have eyes and ears there to help me out with everything!

I attended the re-grand opening at Forest Oak Landing and had a great experience. The community looked welcoming and well organized. Teresa Rodgers was greeting guests at the door and was very friendly and professional. She made everyone feel comfortable right away. Great first impression overall!

I want to sincerely thank the staff for the patience, professionalism, and compassion they’ve shown my mother. Transitions like this are not easy, and the team has handled every situation with calm, respect, and dignity as I visited the community. It takes a special kind of person to consistently show kindness, even on hard days, and that does not go unnoticed. Knowing my mom will be cared for by people who remain steady, respectful, and attentive gives our family real peace of mind. We are truly grateful for the work you do every day. I sat and talked to a few residents and they share this same sentiment.

We attended a well attended open house at Forest Oaks Landing last night. What can I say, but we were completely blown away. The updates were phenomenally done. All the colors, fabric selections, paint colors, flooring and artwork was very tastefully done. The individual apartments are spacious, clean, and private. Great attention was given to bathroom and closets. The screened in balconies overlooking the creek was breathtaking! But more importantly our guide, Debbie P. was a beacon of light. You see, my parents are making a huge transition from their opulent home to a retirement community, a very important and daunting undertaking. Debbie literally grabbed my hand and looked me in the eye and said, “We got this. We will help them every step of the way.” The list of how Forest Oak Landing goes the extra mile for their residents is mind blowing! My mother can cook if she wants to in her sleek, sumptuous kitchen if she wants, or take the elevator to the first floor and enjoy dining in a gorgeous dining room., or go out to her favorite restaurants close by. The choice is theirs! Plus, my dad doesn’t have to pay someone to do lawn work. The grounds are immaculately kept at Forest Oaks Landing last Landing. There is a canopy of trees and creeks running through the woods. Wild deer and turkey roam the area. If you are facing a major transition yourself, or your parents are, you won’t be disappointed, in fact, you will feel right at home if upscale retirement living is what you have in mind.
