The Kensington Falls Church

The Kensington Falls Church is exceptional! The community is beautiful, but what sets it apart is the incredible team. They are not just compassionate but treat each and every resident as family. You feel the warmth the moment you walk in.

Kensington Falls Church is like being with family. They get to know each resident and what they like or don’t like, similar to family. There is a daily schedule of activities that is carefully thought out and followed. They meet each resident at their individual stage of aging and memory care. I love seeing the Activities Director, Reggie, and the Assistant Activities Director leading activities and interacting with each resident at their personal level. There is honestly, truly something for every individual resident to do as much or as little as desired. It amazes me! There are activities with exercise and movement, arts and crafts, nature and plants, baking, trivia, sensory, outings, movies, and so much more. The food is wonderful and family is welcome anytime. The more time I and other family members spend visiting with Mom, the more weI get to know the employees and see how they interact with our Mom and how they treat her with love, respect, and kindness. The way you want your loved one to be cared for and loved like family. I’d like to call Kensington Falls Church home one day.

Our family joined my mother -in-law at the Kensington for a holiday dinner - one of the many extra activities the Kensington hosts for their assisted living residents. The staff always makes us all feel like family. In addition to providing top-notch care, the food is delicious and healthy and the facility feels like a home. We are very grateful to the staff for proving a safe, well managed and comfortable home for our family member.

The team at the Kensington Falls Church is uniquely excellent. My parents have been residents since last April and their quality of life has substantially improved. The visits and time together with our parents are now focused on enjoying our time together with them rather than worrying about care regimes and administering medication. Shelly, Lovy and the entire care team (day and night shift) are focused, caring and pragmatic when interacting with my parents. The entire Kensington team is outstanding and my vocabulary doesn't have suitable words to express my thanks.

My Mom has been at the Kensington Since March 2024. We have been very pleased at the care she is receiving in the assisted living section. The caregivers are fantastic and the management works with you on any issues that arise. The bright spot this year was the Kensington Club coming online. My mom had started to spend more time alone and the K Club really brought her back out of her shell. For a challenging time in life, I am so glad we found the Kensington Falls Church!!
