My first day here I was impressed with how friendly and caring people are. I met some good friends at dinner and I enjoy visiting with a fun group who gets together every week for a party, whether we watch a sporting event or just hang out and visit. There are a lot of opportunities to meet people socially because of the activity programs. If you are looking for a place where you can be artistic, socialize with friends, be spiritual, and even keep your competitive edge with several games, this is a great place to be. And when the weather permits, we all love hanging out on the front porch. I have met very interesting people—smart and talented with diverse personalities and backgrounds. I recommend this community to any and everybody.

My mom has been at The Landing of Long Cove for over 5 years. She lived in assisted living for most of that time and is now in memory care. I am there quite often to visit my mom and volunteer and the staff feel like family to me. There are a lot of employees that have been with The Landing the entire time my mom has lived there. The directors are extremely responsive to my mom's changing needs as she is now late stage Alzheimer's. What's most revealing is if you ask the residents that live there, they will tell you that they are very happy with the environment, the activities, the staff and the care they receive. There will always be some outliers, but based on being there every other day, I can say this is true for a majority of the residents. I also like that there is always something fun going on at The Landing. Whether it's live music, crafts, happy hour, celebrating the season or large family events where they invite the community in for a festive dinner, they do everything with love and care.
