The Landings of Cabarrus

The landings of Cabarrus is a beautiful community! The residents are happy and The staff are loving and caring.

this place is honestly disgusting. i came to visit a family member at the landings of cabarrus and i was shocked at how dirty everything was. the floors were sticky, there was a weird smell in the hallways, and the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. staff looked tired and unbothered, like they didn’t even wanna be there. residents were just sitting around with no one paying attention to them. i asked for help for my relative and got ignored for like fifteen minutes. feels like they only care about getting paid, not actually taking care of people. i left heartbroken and angry.

The Landings of Cabarrus is a great assisted living facility. My family member has been there since last year and I absolutely love it. The staff is attentive to the needs of the residents. They truly go above & beyond to help when needed. I visit my family member almost daily and this is probably the cleanest facility I've seen. I would not hesitate recommending The Landings of Cabarrus to anyone seeking a place for their loved one.

This review was originally wrote 2 months ago and I was careful somewhat what I said because my loved one was still there. I am glad to say after only 4 months total there my love one was moved out of there. This place was horrible. They do not care about your family member. They are very negligent. My person was always soak and wet and double diapered when a family member showed up. It took a couple hours to get something for pain when needed. This place is just a bunch of “employees” hanging around talking and looking at phones and having social time among their selves. The food is horrible. The workers are unkind to your family member. The reviews I looked through now have not changed for the last at least 5 years. Run don’t walk…. Turn around Do your loved one a favor and Do not leave them in the “care” of the Landings. They should be shut down in my opinion. You have to ring doorbell to get in and out. When trying to leave I can NEVER find anyone until I go looking and then I find them all ( like 4-5 workers) in the residents movie theater on their phones. Just ignoring the bell…. Until I say can someone please let me out. This has happened numerous times. Also some of the staff are not friendly at all. Snappy and just unfriendly. I am told my my resident they are not kind to them either. I would not recommend my love one to live here. RUN the other direction!!!! Outside and inside looks beautiful to the eye.

I am absolutely in awe of everyone in this community! They are the kindest staff, clean buildings, and they love all the residents! I am so grateful for Mariah and the entire Landings of Cabarrus team for taking such great care of my grandmother!
