They treated mom with respect and dignity. They never gave up on her when rehab was trying to get her into a nursing home. They made sure her hair was combed and she had earrings and lip stick on. Awesome crew made family feelwelcomed and kept family in the loop of care.

Our Mom has been a resident of The Legacy Assisted Living for just short of 2 years. We had first learned of The Legacy when a friend of ours moved in, not long after its opening. When it came time for our Mom to find a place, she and our family chose The Legacy, after visiting several others. We felt a sense of welcome, as soon as we walked in. Setting up an appt for a tour and talking with Claire , was very settling in knowing this would be a good fit for our Mom. She came to the Legacy with minimal assistance needed. At times, though, her health required extra attention. Claire and her staff took extra care of our Mom during these times, with love and compassion. They listened to her and heard her, and met her needs. They reached out and communicated well with our family. It was a good relationship, and one built on trust. The atmosphere among the staff and residents was healthy. The dining area was lovely. The meals were well balanced and nutritious. There was always something that could be prepared for any special need our Mom might have had. The rooms were spacious, nice and very clean. We appreciated the tall ceiling, and the short, wide hallways for easy navigating. The openness was good for our Mom. We loved that Claire and her staff took the time to visit with, and learn about our Mom and her life. It developed a sense of community, and family, in her new home. We were always welcome to visit, have lunch, and attend any special events that were put on by the facility. We especially enjoyed the Christmas ones. Although, there were a variety of activities for the residents, BINGO was a favorite for our Mom. The Legacy is a well-rounded, well-balanced, loving environment for anyone needing assistance in their life. We will highly recommend The Legacy Assisted Living. We worried about placing our mother in assisted living when she started to have health issues. It was a hard decision to make but after 15 months of her living at Legacy we sleep well at night! Legacy and the staff that work there have made our mothers life so wonderful! Because of their good care her health has improved, They make sure her meds are taken on time, the meals are nutritious and delicious, the staff shows her love and respect with hugs and conversation when she feels lonely. Legacy provides daily entertainment with guitar singers, bingo, puzzles, craft days. They have exercise days to help with mobility. The laundry is always done with care and the entire building is so clean! If ever she needs assistance in her room she presses her alarm button that she wears as a necklace and a staff member will be there in minutes. Legacy Assisted living's staff from the office to the kitchen has truly given our family peace of mind! Legacy Assisted living has given our mother a beautiful place to live out her life! What a wonderful place, we placed my mom here a few months ago and she is very content. The staff are very caring and considerate... the kitchen staff do a great job giving a good and different menu. The high ceiling in the room's really make the place nice.... we love this place! Been a great addition to our family!
