THE LODGE OF HOWARD LAKE

My grandmother was a resident at the Lodge @ Howard Lake for several years. During the entire process Karla and her team were amazing. They truly became part of our extended family is caring for grandma. All of us live out of state and she did not want to be relocated, the Lodge made this possibly by letting us know she was safe and being cared for. In the final days and hours they stayed by her side providing her comfort, helping us say our goodbyes remotely, and advocated on her behalf for treatments with medical providers. I couldn’t recommend this team any more highly to care for your loved ones.

My Mom was a resident of The Lodge in Howard Lake for two years (part of the time was during the Covid pandemic). She was welcomed with open arms by the staff and existing residents. The staff was always patient and compassionate with her needs, often taking extra time just to sit and chat with her. When she had a fall, they were professional and responsive to the care she required. During her time in the hospital and rehab (due to the fall), the staff at The Lodge continued to keep in touch with my family to follow-up on anything she may had needed. The facility was clean and cheerful. Her room was maintained by the staff and if additional needs were required, they were eager to assist her. She enjoyed sitting in the back yard patio and looked forward to watering her flowers and listening to the birds daily. She really had a “home-like” feeling of her surroundings and environment. During the Covid pandemic many of the activities were put on hold; however, the staff was aware of the isolation and attended to her leisure needs as able. Covid protocol was communicated to our family on a regular basis and the staff was always available for questions and concerns. My Mom enjoyed her time at The Lodge. (I often wonder if she wishes she had moved in earlier in her life.) Karla Davis is a stellar and compassionate leader of the facility. My Mom was and continues to be very fond of her and knew that Karla would always take time to listen to her and get to know her. I would recommend The Lodge in Howard Lake to anyone looking for the extra care and love for their loved one seeking assisted living.

Couldn't be happier with the assisted care facility, moved our folks here about a year now and the staff has been extremely friendly, professional and very caring. Petite facility allows personalized care and activities.
