The Meadows of Rockwell Retirement Center

I've not been there in many years. The residents deserve(d) more. I have no idea if Roshanda is still around, but if she is (or seeing this), thank you for genuinely caring about our grannies and grampies.

I call my family member there all the time and I get the run around. They say they will have them call back but that never happens. The phone rings and rings and when someone does pick up they transfer you to a recording where the mail box is full and can no longer take messages. My last visit there I found sores and scabs on their legs where they had fell and been scab. They looked infected. Urine smell everywhere along with stickiness. Residents going to bathroom in wheelchair ( I know they can't help themselves) but no-one would mop the floors or get them cleaned up quickly. I know they are low on staff but a sanitary place is detrimental to the health of an individual. My family member has gone downhill the last few years. I'm unable myself to help. .

Road by facility today to see many needed upgrades outside. Staff was very polite and helpful considering the COVID pandemic while explaining visitation policy. Great asset to community and prayers for everyone to be safe!

Went to visit my mother in law and this facility has had an awesome makeover! Looks beautiful from outside and inside. Spoke personally with Director and I no longer worry about her care and where she is staying. I know she is well taken care of. I wouldn’t want her at any other place!

The Meadows of Rockwell has made significant improvements. New renovations & updates to residents' rooms give The Meadows a new look and welcoming atmosphere! Staff really cares about their residents! A great community if a family member needs placement in Rowan County.
