THE OAKS OF GRANBURY

The Oaks has been a true blessing for our family. My mom has aggressive Alzheimer’s and my dad needed full assistance after sudden health issues. The staff—especially Ashley, Britney, and Emily—go above and beyond every day. Any problem is addressed immediately, and the care and compassion are unmatched. We’re so thankful for everything they’ve done during such a difficult time.

This is the 4th family member I have had to place in a memory care facility. This has by far been the best experience of them all. Communication with staff has been outstanding. Billing has been beyond fair trust me I know. Being a smaller facility the caregivers are able to interact with their clients and know them better. I would recommend The Oaks.

Our mother has thrived since moving in! We love that staff and especially the director!! She has done some amazing things making the oaks a home.

Initially, this was a good fit for my loved one with dementia, but as the needs increased, unfortunately, the care decreased. Sadly, this facility runs off all the great caretakers. Unless they recently changed their pricing policies, the picture below shows inaccurate information; we WERE charged for different levels of care even though we did not always receive the elevated care indicated. If you select this facility for your loved one, PLEASE plan on taking a VERY active role in their care.

We have visited The Oaks twice. The second time bringing my mom. We were served lunch while there and the food was fabulous! The new director and staff are wonderful. Very understanding and helpful. They were so willing to answer all our questions and address our concerns. The facility is beautiful and very cozy. We spoke with other residents and a family member of a resident who have been very happy there. I’m very pleased with the precautions they put in place for anyone walking in the building before being around other residents. I’m very pleased with all the activities they have scheduled for residents and that they offer a church option on Sundays. When the time comes to transition my mom this is where we will go.
