The Park at Oak Grove

I can't say enough about Park Oak Grove, particularly Carolyn. If you don't have a Carolyn in your life, I 10/10 recommend you get one. I called on a Sunday ... a SUNDAY about availability, Carolyn not only answered the phone, but met me and my mom within a couple of hours. The next day I was moving her in. When I was sitting in the floor putting a bed frame together, Carolyn not only took the time to get to know my mom, but she was there when all the overwhelming feelings came for me. I had no idea what I was doing, and you don't until you find yourself in this situation. I was fortunate enough to have a Carolyn, who looked me in my tear filled eyes and told me it would all be ok. Five stars doesn't feel like enough, but I hope this review helps someone navigate a difficult situation, made bearable by a single individual and Park Oak Grove.

We chose Park Oak Grove (for my mother) for their spacious accommodations and warm atmosphere. The staff has been very responsive to concerns and works hard to make sure mom is taken care of. Paige and Carolyn have been a pleasure to work with on the admin side. The CNAs have been just as responsive. PT/OT are also onsite to problem solve ways to best care for mom… and their presence is a huge plus to this facility. We are happy we made the move to bring mom to Roanoke.

When I visit Park Oak Grove the staff is welcoming and friendly. The residents seem happy and their activities calendar provides something for everyone! Carolyn has a huge heart for everyone who walks through the door & is able to guide potential residents in the right direction best suited for their needs. A high level of care is offered. I have a friend whose 97 year old dad is a resident and she says they couldn't be happier that they selected Park Oak Grove!
