THE PINES AT OAKHURST

My dad was a resident at The Pines and his care was exceptional. The facility is very nice, the rooms are cozy and the food is good. But it is the care team that really leaves their mark. Every one who lives there is treated with respect and dignity. The employees smile, laugh and interact with everyone, including each other. Liza's leadership is felt throughout, Willis and Monica were dad's primary caregivers and I am forever grateful for the compassion they showed my dad in his final days. Thank you all for bring difference makers in the lives of our precious loved ones.

Liza & her staff are phenomenal with the patients. Liza goes over and beyond she always is lending a helping hand when I come see my patients. Community is amazing !

I am truly grateful for The Pines at Oakhurst for the care they gave my husband and our family the past five months . I don’t have words for what the staff there does for their residents . In the most difficult time of their lives , they give loving care , dignity and respect to each and every one of them . I have witnessed this all hours of the day and night as family has access 24/7 . They know each residents little ways about them , their preferences and what makes them comfortable and feel at home .. my husband was very happy there and when I would bring him back from an outing I never received any pushback , it became his community / home of others struggling so he didn’t feel so isolated with his disease . . the residence would all help each other as well. The home is spotless and always smells wonderfully clean and often has some delicious home cooked meal or dessert cooking in the kitchen . It’s a warm uplifting place with music , teasing , laughter and love … My husband passed last week and they took the most horrific time in our lives and loved us through it . I will miss being apart of The Pines “family” now that he has passed and have already directed my children when the time comes , this is where I would like to go . The entire staff at The Pines at Oakhurst have been nothing but wonderful with my mother during her transition from independent living to memory care. They keep me constantly updated on her condition when I am not able to visit. They treat everyone well from my observation and the home cooked meals always look and smell amazing.

The Pines at Oakhurst isn't your run of the mill Assisted Living Facility! Everyone is treated like family here, and the people who own and run the facility make it a special experience for whoever walks through their doors. It would be hard to find care givers with more enthusiasm. You can tell these people love what they do just by watching how caring, loving, and supportive they are with all of their guests. Be ready for hugs, laughs, good cooking, and great assistance. I guarantee you won't be disappointed, every time I visit I don't want to leave. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
