The Pinnacle of Southaven

The Pinnacle has really been a saving grace for my mom and I during one of the most difficult times in our lives. The staff have been amazing! Everyone takes such great care of my Dad and really keep us updated on how his days are. He is in the memory care unit and everyone is so kind and comforting. We appreciate all the special care they give to my Dad.

My Mom has been in Memory Care almost 2 1/2 years. The facility is clean and modern. The residents enjoy the food served. The resident doctor, Dr. Scott, is awesome. Activities are done with residents on a daily basis to keep them alert and active. Family events are organized often. The staff are kind and caring to residents and family. My Mom is doing well here. I do miss a few care givers that left for better paying jobs (understandable). They were also wonderful!

My family consists of myself, a brother, and two sisters. We have a great love for our mother, and we all want the best for her. We had kind of a troublesome time of takng care of her 24/7 during 2022, especially after the passing of our father. It was wearing on us and I had to begin looking for a solution. My mother has had dementia for several years. She had needs that we were not trained to handle. I begin searching for a facility that meet the needs of my mother in DeSoto county. When you are searching for these type facilities, you will find that it comes down to who has the availability, plus which one has the best advantages for your family member. I am going to say that Pinnacle of Southaven memory care department sure fit those credentials . In the beginning, I would say please take care of my mom with tears in my eyes. They kept telling me that was their main objective taking care of the patients as if they were family members. It took me a while to get comfortable, but now I keep going back thanking them for taking care of my mother. I can say for certain the current staff is phenomenal they have a heart for their job. They strive to have ways to interact with the patients. Since Jorga has come on board they have updated the facility. She meets with the staff weekly to discuss updates on a patient's needs. This is truly a caring facility. I am very thankful for the in house therapy program, because they certainly keep my 95 year old mother active for her age. I can also say for certain that all my family is very thankful for Pinnacle of Southaven, and I expect that you will come to find it is a good choice for your family member too.

I am so very thankful for the Memory Care unit at The Pinnacle. Making the decision to move a loved one to memory care is difficult for family. My mom has adjusted so well to the smaller environment & with the care from all of the staff. She is content & I have such a peace of mind. The staff, from management, maintenance, housekeeping, activities, dining, nurses, & the resident assistants are so caring & hands on with the residents. They all know my mom & she is a well cared for. The facility both inside and outside, is lovely, homey & well maintained. I feel like we have an extended family at the Pinnacle.

We recently moved both of my grandmothers into the Pinnacle, and it has been lovely for them already. The staff is amazing and friendly and truly is looking out for the best interests of the residents. They have a lot of fun activities to participate in, and both I and my son feel incredibly welcome every time we come visit.
