Ray Dennison and Odanny are each problematic. The residents ask for me to perform by name- see photo. I went to perform in December 2024 and an employee knocked over my speaker. Yet, Ray refuses to pay for the damage that one of his employees caused to my speaker equipment when I was there performing! One of the staff set me up to perform in front of a sliding door that the employees were going in and out of for a Christmas party and one of the employees - a black male about 6ft- opened the sliding door and it knocked my speaker over which then hit the piano bench causing the dent you see in the photo. To add, the speaker now will not sit properly in the stand and has a lean to it. My mic had a cord and was jerked out of the system and now my microphone gives off a scratchy sound when moved. Musicians already have it very difficult…but I’ve even given them 50% off of my services and this is how you repay? To add, Odanny has come across as racist and since my speaker fell, has not booked me again despite resident requests. I am a professional musician and I carry myself as such. If they treat musicians this way- whom are there to make life better for residents- imagine how the residents are treated! Just know that the way staff/contractors are treated says a lot about a company! I hope that you find a better place to send your loved ones instead of here with these heartless people! The leadership is a reflection of how the staff behave! Update: You ARE responsible as YOUR staff knocked over my equipment. There are witnesses and God knows! As The Lord surely lives, if I am lying, and your staff didn’t knock over my equipment, your company will thrive from this day forward! If I am NOT lying, as The Lord surely lives, your company will not thrive from this day forward! Godspeed! 3.5.2026

Life is a journey. Sometimes the journey presents difficult circumstances that require help from others to successfully navigate those circumstances. After touring multiple assisted living communities we knew immediately that The Providence Fairfax was where we wanted our family to live and prosper. Not only is the community (decor, rooms, activities, lovely areas to sit and enjoy others/books, restaurants, food, bar - yes a bar, etc) fantastic what really sets The Providence Fairfax apart is their people. In addition to the amazing staff across all disciplines (you know who you are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts) the residents and the volunteer resident ambassadors are all so kind, helpful and welcoming. The culture at The Providence Fairfax is healthy, happy and nourishing. If you are considering this type of community for your family, look no further you won't regret it. Welcome Home! Ron, Lisa and Sheldon

Our mom moved to the Providence in the winter (2025) after having toured multiple assisted living and memory care residences. We chose The Providence because the facility is lovely, the apartments are comfortable and bright, there are numerous activities offered daily, the pricing includes medication distribution (many places charge additional fees which can amount to an additional $1,000/month or more), and the dining room food is quite tasty. Since our mom has lived at the Providence for several months, we discovered The Providence’s absolute best feature: its STAFF!! The Providence administration does an amazing job hiring the most caring, patient, and friendly staff we have ever encountered. Everyone including the dining room servers, nursing assistants, nurses and medication techs, the folks coordinating and running the many activities, the front desk staff, and the building maintenance team, takes the time to get to know each resident’s personality, interests, families, and things about their lives from when they were younger. Our mom’s adjustment to assisted living was difficult at first, but the administrative team worked with our family to come up with several creative solutions that have helped our mom feel more comfortable.
