The Residence At Shelburne Bay West

My apartment, friendly staff, and activities are fine and meet my needs and expectations. My internet connection is way under -powered, unresponsive, and inadequate, poor parking

Look no further, this community is by far checks all the boxes with 5 stars; Management, Staff, Apt sizes, cleanliness, fellow Residents, culinary choices, healthy options, location, various activities etc.. This is my first time living at a 55+ community and I was hesitant at first but I am really enjoying my time here.. Special thanks and grateful appreciation must be recognized in this Review to Yangchen Kelly for guiding me through entire process of this new Chapter here at Shelburne Bay..and I'm 60 years old who "Never" would have imagined living at a senior living community..

We moved my in-laws in this week to the independent living side. They anticipated our needs and made sure there were trolleys and helpers to schlepp everything up. Within 24 hours of our walk thru, the maintenance personnel- Rick and David and their supervisor had fixed any and all concerns. At lunch time a large, very tasty assortment of sandwiches, chips, fruit, cookies, and cold waters was delivered with a sincere smile and welcome. Every interaction w staff is a genuine conversation where our mom and dad are heard, their question’s answered fully, and their concerns addressed. Until recently my own father was in a senior community, and we thought it was a really good one. To our surprise The Residence at Shelburn Bay is even better due to the staff. Thank you!

After a challenging recovery from a health event my father's needs were greater than we had expected. Shelburne Bay provided him a clean, safe, joyful experience and, as a child of an aging parent who lives out of state, I was particularly impressed with the prompt, thoughtful communication and the very individualized care. I felt my father was truly supported here and I would highly recommend Shelburne Bay to all who are looking. Additionally, I want to give a special shout out to Yangchen Kelley who went above and beyond to make the transition seamless with her welcoming, competent and kind abilities.

My parents moved into their apartment at Residence at Shelburn Bay about 6 weeks ago. The grounds are park like and attracted them to the residence initially. The food has been amazing and there is so much variety. Because my Mom is in hospice my sisters and I have spent a lot of time here and have found the staff to be great, especially Yangchen who is in charge of the customer experience. My Dad has been meeting and engaging with so many of the super friendly and helpful residents. It is a very caring community.
