I'm Louise, Jeff's wife using his sign-in. I came to Skyline after a serious accident and 11 days in the hospital recovering from a total hip replacement plus 2 pins in my pelvic bone. I also had a broken collarbone. Skyline was terrific. 3 weeks after the accident I was still unable to get out of bed without assistance. But with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy 6 days a week, that soon changed. Every one of the five different therapists was caring and competent, and at 4 weeks I was starting to walk. This wasn't easy since my broken collarbone meant I couldn't use my left arm to support me, and my left leg could only bear half my weight, never my full weight. But the therapists taught me safe ways to walk with a cane. At 5 weeks the doctor said I could use both arms and both legs fully, and the therapists really went to town teaching me to walk safely and normally. After 6 weeks I was able to walk out of Skyline, not fully cured for it will take a lot more healing, but able to function again at home. Staff were universally caring and competent. I had a private room and a comforting and attractive environment. The meals were more like restaurant meals than institutional food, and I truly looked forward to them. The nursing staff and the staff physician were terrific, universally pleasant even at challenging times. In short, if you need rehab services, this is an absolutely wonderful place to receive it.

We came to Seattle due to an accident my mother had on a cruise ship. After her surgery we were told to find an after care facility. Being from Oklahoma we were not familiar with anything in Seattle. We did a lot of research and discovered skyline. It has everything my mother needs and much much more. The care, the rehabilitation, the staff, they have become our family away from home. As I head back to Oklahoma tomorrow and leave my father with my mother, I have no worries. I know that she will be well taken care of and that she will be back with me soon. This place is amazing, truly amazing!!!
