THE VILLA AT CROWN POINTE

I came for a tour of Crown Pointe Senior Living. When I walked in the door it felt welcoming. Brooke and I sat down to talk about Crown Pointe and what they offer. They have so many planned activities to keep you busy all day if you want to be busy. Everywhere you look there are chairs to sit and rest. The meal choices they offer sound delicious. I have decided to make this my home.

Check in is easy, however is often bypassed. Don’t know how safe that is for residents. Lobby is very clean. Like the easy access of sanitizers. Front desk is friendly. Seems to be a lot of Programming for residents. Inviting water station for all. (Observation are from a visitor.)

If I could leave a negative 5 review, I would This is absolutely the worst place on earth to bring your loved ones. Staff are very rude very very rude. The directors of nursing don’t know what they’re doing. Nothings in order the way them people treat them residents. It’s crazy. I had to get my mom out of there. I can’t believe this place is even up and running still it’s just crazy. I can’t even tell you all the stuff I’ve seen And the staff just thinks that I’m another resident so I really have seen some things this place. no one should have to live at as their last dying wish. . Period.

My brother`s experience here was positive. I do question some of the business practices of the company. First, you begin to pay the moment you sign. Of course it takes time to move furniture and belongings in. Rent due at the beginning of next month would be fairer. The other thing is what consitutes rent? My brother was at the top of the scale and required more help with staying on schedule, personal hygiene, dressing, etc. He left on the 1st of the month but was charged for the full month. Prorating these variable costs is more appropriate. As a past business owner I`ve never seen pro-provider policies like these.

I absolutely love this facility. I visit a friend in another assisted living place and it is horrid by comparison to Crown Pointe. I love that there is an open floor plan outside of the rooms. But there are tables where people can put together puzzles overlooking the floors below. I love that there is a really nice lobby area that is open with plenty of nice seating that looks very comfortable. I love it Christmas when all the Christmas trees are up. I feel like my loved ones that are there are really taken care of and I couldn't ask for anything better for them.
