THE VILLAS OF SCR AT THE HEIGHTS

I was fortunate enough to find Sycamore Creek Ranch for my aunt (Barbara) who I was responsible for. She had advanced multiple sclerosis and advanced Alzheimer’s. I ended up moving her from a full care nursing facility because I felt she could benefit from a smaller environment with more personalized support. I received a reference for Sycamore Creek Ranch from another care facility that couldn’t provide the level of care Barbara required. From my first contact with Tara, to the admissions process with Cecilia, and to with Jessica at the facility the process was seamless. All were very helpful and we were quickly able to move Barbara into their facility in The Heights. Jessica and her staff were awesome! Barbara could be difficult at times due to the Alzheimer’s. In fact, I was concerned that they may ask her to leave. Jessica let me know that they understand how to deal with that behavior and assured me that my aunt was welcome there until the end. Over time, Barbara settled down and all the people she interacted with came to love her. They really take care of people there. It’s a special environment. The facility is much more personal than the other facilities we had my aunt in. While we didn’t have bad experiences at the other places, and the staff at those facilities took a personal interest in Barbara’s care, Sycamore Creek Ranch took it to the next level. It is smaller than the other facilities and the staff seemed more attentive. They seemed to have more time to work with my aunt. We had hospice involved and they were great also. We chose one of the hospice companies that Jessica was familiar with. Their office is actually two doors down from Sycamore Creek Ranch. The coordination between the hospice people and Jessica’s staff was exceptional. Eventually, Barbara’s condition deteriorated, and it became apparent that the end was near. Jessica and her staff helped Barbara, and our family, throughout the process. Jessica was incredible and attempted to be there around the clock to take care of Barbara (I’ve never seen anything like it)! She and her staff went so far above what I would expect of any employees of a facility. It was exceptional and I thank them immensely. I would highly recommend Sycamore Creek Ranch to anyone that has a loved one with major physical and mental difficulties in need of passionate and compassionate care.

The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They listen to individual needs and questions, allowing for a pleasant experience. If you have a family member in need of memory care services, look into Sycamore.

My family loves our experience at the Villas of SCR in the Heights, my mom has been a resident for over a year and she is thriving in this safe and loving home. The facility is well kept, bright and inviting. The Staff is like family to us- very knowledgeable, kind and caring- often going over and above what is expected. There is constant laughter heard. The overall atmosphere is family friendly and like a home away from home! I would urge anyone looking for a special place to care for their loved one to come see SCR!

We are so fortunate to have found Sycamore Creek at the Heights. The atmosphere is welcoming, homey and cheerful, bright and well furnished, the meals are delicious, the facility is very clean and well maintained. The management and staff are amazing - not only professionally but also caring, loving, very attentive and truly dedicated to their work and the personal care and well-being of the residents who have been entrusted to them.

My Aunt Jerry spent the last weeks of her life here after a tough stint in a rehab facility in coastal Maine, and a 40+ hour medical transport to return her home to Texas. In those last weeks of her life she was treated with amazing levels of care, and compassion by Jessica and her staff. Literally everyone there treated her as if she was part of their own family. While we mourn her loss I and my entire family am so grateful she spent the her last weeks at Villas of SCR The Heights.
