The Viridian

The Viridian has been an amazing place for my grandparents. They’ve been here since it opened and have been treated with the utmost care and respect, like family, by the staff and other residents. It’s an amazing place and the care they take to make the residents feel at home shows. I wouldn’t pick any other facility for my loved ones to be.

I am beyond impressed with the care and attention my Mom receives at The Viridian. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all the residents. I highly recommend them!

I have a family member living at The Viridian, and she is very happy living there. The Viridian is a clean facility and the management and staff are caring and supportive of each resident. Walk into the lobby and it is evident that the residents are having a good time socializing and enjoying the planned activities. The dining room is bright and the food smells so good, and from the empty plates, it tastes wonderful. The rooms are comfortable with a private bath and furnished cable. There is a beauty shop in the building available to the residents, along with a theatre with a large screen TV and movies available. I think The Viridian is the #1 place in New Bern for Assisted Living and Independent living and I appreciate all they do for my family member. Thank you!

The Viridian is a beautiful place to live. The residents enjoy their home very much. Brianna and her staff are very kind, professional and a pleasure to work with. It's an upscale place for your parents.

The Viridian Community in New Bern, NC is a blessing in my Mothers life and ours. Our Mother was lonely and depressed after our Dad passed. They had been married for 62 years. We tried everything to help my Mom adapt to her life without him, but nothing worked. Her sadness and depression was a daily struggle. We discovered the Viridian Respite Care for short term guest stays and we decided to try it. Her first 3-day experience was wonderful, she would call and tell us how much she was enjoying herself. She was sad to leave, when I picked her up, she asked me why I was there so early to pick her up, she was not ready to leave. Her next stay a month later, was for 4 nights and she told us that she loved being at the Viridian, that for the first time in a long time, she was smiling, sleeping better and overall happier. Three days after coming home, she asked if she could move in full-time. The staff was incredible with making her comfortable and we are so thankful that she is happy and living her life with hope and joy again.
