I am here to confirm the review left by Molly S. My father-in-law stayed at The Waterford for several months. He received excellent care, was treated with kindness and dignity by the staff. His health improved dramatically while in the care of Waterford. The NPs discussed John's health and care with staff and family in John's presence, and in turn corrected the mismanagement and abuse of John's meds by Google reviewer Robin Stitt. It's not a violation on the part of Waterford as Robin has accused. Unfortunately Robin has taken John from Waterford, going against advisement of the home and healthcare providers, and John has suffered greatly since she took him home 7 weeks ago. It is sad to say John has been reduced to a frail shell of himself in that time, then dropped at a small town nursing home by his wife, left alone for "comfort care" when he had so recently thrived at The Waterford. We pray his new care facility can help John as much as The Waterford.

My husband and I wanted an assisted living home that would be close for us to visit my father-in-law often. We found that in the Waterford at College View. My father-in-law is able to comfortable have his own room, and to be involved as much as he wants in whatever fun activities they are planning. The leadership team and care staff are wonderful and kind. It has been just the place that we have needed for our family. Thank you!

Waterford College view is a wonderful facility with a caring and honest staff. My dad was so content there - always telling me how peaceful and quiet it was. They assisted with getting my dad's medications straightened out and his overall health and cognition improved so much while he was there. We are so appreciative of everything that the nurses and administration did for dad. They were like family. We are sad that he is not still living there.

Some of the staff was nice, and were kind to my husband, but I couldn't get an honest answer about his care; sometimes opposite information. Family who were not POA were given information instead of the one who was designated.

I gave one star only because I couldn't give zero. My mother was a resident at Waterford she had two cats at home she went to the hospital because she wasn't feeling good and the doctors decided she couldn't go home alone I live in California. She had her two cats at home still and one of the staff was so kind she went to north Platte on her own time and got my mother's cats for her and brought them to her. About two weeks later the staff tells my mom to wait on the auditorium they had some measurements they had to take in her room. She was in the auditorium for a little over an hour and they came got her took her back to her room.she sat down feeling something wasn't right then it hit her her cats and everything to do with them( litter box toys food) all were gone including her two cats. She began to scream and walked out into the hallway screaming and crying and the staff just ignored her. A couple weeks after that her life savings and pretty much anything else she had was gone so the staff decided to send her back to the hospital because they had drained her account and she didn't have the funds to continue paying so much. While at the hospital she was emotionally abused some more and was told she wouldn't be able to continue paying on her life insurance policy and she became very upset. Then she got sick with pneumonia and refused treatment and died due to the pneumonia. I wouldn't bring a family member to this senior living if it was the last one on earth. They only care about money. They dont care for the senior at all. Maybe a few might but obviously the ones taking care of my mother had no compassion or any kind of feelings for her emotional well being.
