Not a place to leave someone you care about. It is an aged institution that delivers broken promises and treat the residents in a dismal fashion. I walked up on a long term staff member breading my loved one and after reporting it is still there to this day. Took me a half a decade to put the pieces together. The communication is non existent from staff to caretaker. Not a thing that is promised on initial visit day is actually manifested except the withdrawal from your account. That was reliable. One word sums up my experience. "Incompetent "

My Mom lives at the Wellington. The apartments are large and have washer and dryer in units, nice outdoor space. Crappy Internet and TV doesn't even Astro baseball, transportation is lacking, bus seems to be in the shop (AC didn't work well this summer). Food has always been lacking. No choice of food. Some of her friends have moved. I wish she would move. But she likes her washer & dryer.

Wow. The effort and care at this place is astounding especially during the tough times of Covid. They make sure everyone who lives there is set and comfortable. My great uncle has nothing but positive things to say about the staff and living establishment. I wouldn’t think twice about moving another loved one here in the future if needed. A huge thanks to The Wellington.

The Wellington has been a blessing for our family, they have gone above and beyond in how they care for our mother. She is so happy there and has settled in nicely, she loves the activities (games) and the meal plans that she chooses from weekly. Plus they always keep us informed and updated on Covid 19... Big thumbs up for the staff members and everyone that works there for keeping her safe and happy.

My mother has lived at The Wellington for almost 6 months. She was reluctant to move at first, but has been happy there. The staff has always been extremely accommodating. Their kindness and tender treatment of Mom has surpassed our expextations. Because the facility is smaller than some of the corporate owned larger places, there is a real home feeling. It has been easy to get to know the staff. The residents know each other and enjoy the planned activities. I really am pleased with our decision to allow mom to have her own apartment, but now I don't have to worry any more about her safety. I would highly recommend The Wellington if you are looking for an assisted living facility for your loved one.
