The Valencia at Draper

Provided great care and worked well with hospice during my wife's final days. Easy to work with and definitely a good value for the money. Excellent caring staff. Very clean rooms and common areas. Would definitely recommend for memory care or hospice care.

Dementia is difficult! Finding the Valencia, for my mom was an answered to so many prayers! She was struggling with late stages of dementia. It came to the point where she could no longer be cared for in our home. Not only was she able to find a home at Valencia where they cared for her she was able to have her small dog live with her. It was a game changer and her happiness. Everyone was so caring for my mom and fell in love with her sweet dog also. Thank you for the long hours of dedicated service that you give with probably not enough Thank yous. It has meant so much to our family! Thank you for your help, kindness & care of Carol & Chloe!

Our family is so incredibly grateful to Valencia at Draper and the entire staff for the loving care they gave our mom. From our very first tour to meeting with Natalie to sign contracts, we always had positive interactions and felt heard. When it came time to find an assisted living community that also offered memory care if she ever needed it, I did a lot of research. In the end, we just felt really good about Valencia — and we’re so thankful we trusted that feeling. Mom loved the activities and built sweet friendships with other residents. She absolutely adored Julio in the kitchen — they formed a real friendship that meant so much to her and to us. The nurses, Alison and Ashleigh, were always communicative and available — even in the middle of the night if we needed something. That kind of responsiveness brings so much peace to a family. We were especially grateful that Mom could have her dog, Chloe. They had an apartment with a walk-out sliding door, which was such a blessing. Everyone loved Chloe, and we never had to worry about her being cared for if Mom wasn’t up to it. Connor, the director, is truly wonderful. I’ll never forget a time when Mom was at a very low point and didn’t want to leave her room for dinner. We were worried she was starting to give up. Connor gently went in, helped her into her wheelchair, and before I knew it, he was wheeling her down to dinner. It was such a simple but beautiful act of kindness. He even dressed up as Santa at Christmas. They always had lots of great activities and a family event to attend each month! There really aren’t words to fully describe the care our mom received. We were a very involved family and communicated often, which was helpful. We will always be grateful our mom spent her final year there!

Valencia has been a great experience for my grandmother. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly treats her with respect. The community feels warm and welcoming, and communication with us has always been clear and consistent. You can tell the team genuinely cares about the people they serve. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved one.

I recently got to worked with Connor and his team. They are attentive and friendly. The building is clean and beautiful. I appreciate the sense of urgency from Connor and how quickly he was able to assist the family I was working with. I highly recommend Valencia for anyone needing to place their loved ones in need of assisted living or memory care. I would have given 10 stars if there was an option.
