THE WINFIELD AT MIDDLETOWN

I can't believe they told us to give my mother's independent living the 30 day notice and then several days later told us they weren't going to accept her. It will cause us many problems, this is unacceptable.

Poor service, horrible food, no real care. My parents are currently at this place. I have asked 5 times to have my parents' TV moved down. It is so high on the wall that it kinks your neck when looking at it. I have spoken to the Executive Director, Amy Gartenman and nothings is still being done. My mother has dementia and the food has to be brought to the room and when the food arrives it is cold. My mother is also to the point that she doesn't really eat and needs to be on a supplement drink. This place is supposed to be know for carring for memory care and they have not adjust her meal to keep her body going. The microwave in the room does not work. There is a broken drawer that they cannot get fixed. My parents are 91 and 81 yrs old and they need help! I ABSOULTLEY DO NOT RECOMEND THIS FACILITY. 12/10/2023

I visit this building regularly with a 3rd party company. The staff are all very friendly, which is not the norm. Nursing director and ED are responsive and welcoming, also not the norm. We refer here because we trust them with our patients.
