THRIVE AT MONTVALE (NJAL02005)

We can’t speak highly enough of the Team at Thrive at Montvale. They cultivated a wonderful and warm living experience for our Mother. Her stay at Thrive was filled with good company and engaging activities that spanned lectures, arts courses, various games, field trips and religious and community events. Sahar and his team: Carmen, Bruno, Jeanette, Donna, Judy, Terri, Angela, and Marlena, all made Mom feel safe, cared for, comfortable and free to build a meaningful community with her fellow residents. The complex is absolutely beautiful and brimming with amenities, shared spaces, comfortable lounges, a cafe, a bar, in and outdoor activities (billiards, gym, Baci). The unit was new construction, thoughtfully laid out, pleasant and functional. And the overall aesthetics of Thrive are light and airy and conducive to a positive, uplifting state of mind. Everything is also meticulously well maintained and pristine, with an emphasis on hygiene. We are truly grateful for our Mother’s time at Thrive.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Thrive for 1 1/2 years now. It has become her home where she feels a sense of community which is so important as we grow older. Two of the people (besides her friends) that have made a world of difference are Carmen and Grace. They are Community Relations Coordinators who not only do a great job in meeting the needs of the residents, but perform it in a loving and caring manner. We couldn’t be happier with the care our loved one receives at Thrive. Every time we visit, we’re greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere—residents are smiling, music fills the air, and there’s always something engaging happening. The staff are not only professional and attentive, but also genuinely compassionate. It’s clear they truly care about the well-being and happiness of each resident. I could not recommend this place more!

I’ve been to Thrive on a weekly basis since March if 2025 and from what I see, this is well run, clean, caring and lively community. They have many kinds of activities for independent and assisted living, as well as memory care, activities such as games, music, and movies. The staff are very caring and I’m saying this from firsthand experience. I do the weekly drum circles and also provide entertainment sometimes with my groups. They layout of the space is beautiful- huge center courtyard, lots of surrounding trees, and an open space cafe lobby. By the way the food is fantastic!

From the moment you walk through the doors of Thrive Montvale, there’s an unmistakable energy, residents smiling, staff engaging warmly, and a vibrant sense of community. I’m always greeted with genuine enthusiasm, often seeing residents chatting near the lush green living wall or savoring a specialty drink at the coffee bar. It’s one of my favorite places to visit, not just to see my clients, but to join in an activity and reconnect with the incredible team. What truly sets Thrive apart isn’t just the beautiful, thoughtfully designed space, it’s the people. The staff takes the time to understand each new resident’s interests and goes out of their way to make meaningful connections. Their care and attention create a truly welcoming home for both residents and their families.
