Rewrote this review because I almost forgot to mention how nice the staff was here! We were visiting a friend who lives here. My wife and I are looking for a community, as my wife needs more help. It seems like most activities happen in the independent area,s and a lot less happens in assisted living. It was explained that there are no activities currently in assisted living or memory care. The outdoor space is great, and we hope to visit again once construction is complete.

Elegant, warm, and economically astute. I've been here about a month and enjoy it more daily. The centrally located koi pond, recently appointed by new manage and ownership, is a relaxing and invigorating delight. There is a splendid lit path at night. Staff at all levels has been exceptional. People general seem happy to be here. I looked at alot of places and this is equally a $4000.00 place in Scottsdale. The area here is pleasant and across the street from Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and hospital. Alicia at the front desk is amazing and a rarely seen resident advocate de facto. Natalie in Dining is also a gem. Mike Brown at CEO seems to have revitalized my home. Also thanks to New Day Lifestyles...Julia and Ramie...for dragging me over from mesa several times..God knows why I thought...now I thank them and understand! Go Steelers! And last but not least comes the little Sheba of Redwood City, the Dynamo of Thunderbird, the Fatima of Family Advisors Kaaaattttyyyyyyyyy S. Beautiful moonlight walks!

We recently moved our father into Thunderbird Assisted & Senior Living, and I want to share how incredibly gracious and accommodating the staff has been. They have supported us every step of the way. Even their vendors, like Ken, who doesn’t work directly for the property, have offered assistance. A special thank you goes to Katey Scott, Family Advisor—don't hesitate to call her to learn more about the services they offer—and Stephanie Robinson, Resident Services Director. Since this was our first experience moving a loved one into a senior living facility, these extraordinary individuals made a challenging situation significantly more bearable. We cannot thank Katey, Stephanie, and the entire staff at Thunderbird Assisted & Senior Living enough for their help. We highly recommend Thunderbird Assisted & Senior Living and encourage you to explore the many benefits of their facility!

Horrible service! I came in because I wanted to schedule a tour for my grandparents. There was a girl at the front desk by the name of Jaela or jailynn this was a couple weeks ago . who totally ignored me, her head was down in her phone and she walked off to the back before even greeting me. And we she came back to the front desk she gave me an unsettling stare and said do I need something. I told her I would like to meet with someone for pricing and a brochure, she said one moment walked off, possibly to help someone else and came back and said they were on lunch and to just leave a message. That alone made me not want to see the place. She is working with seniors and she doesn’t know anything about customer service. I told her I will try another time. But I wouldn’t recommend this place . her attitude made me feel that my grandparents would be unsafe!

Katey was great and made the whole experience so much easier. I reviewed and toured several living centers and I felt like Katey really listened. After I selected Thunderbird she and her team continued to be attentive and helpful which showed it wasn't just a sales pitch but a place that was really going to make sure my mom was comfortable and taken care of.
