The owner lives on site, is actively involved in all operational areas, and he and staff get to know residents likes, dislikes, and specific care needs on an individual basis. Tiffin House provides personal, compassionate care at a level that is exceptional. Based on my own experience and what I have learned from others faced with making life changing decisions for your loved one, yourself, and family, you struggle with two major questions: when and where. When is by far the most difficult and painful decision, but it will much less stressful when you know where with confidence and peace of mind. My wife of 52 years has been at Tiffin House for one year this month. I am grateful for a neighbor I had never met whose wife was there became aware of my situation, reached out and shared his experience. I am thankful a room became available before I had put her in one of the other places I considered. She is happy and content, and receiving the care and assistance I prayed for. Each time I visit her and observe the interaction between residents and staff I know she is exactly where she needs to be. Justin and staff are indeed special people.

Tiffin House is a remarkable place, and I wholeheartedly recommend the facility to any family looking for physical or memory care for a loved one. The atmosphere is warm and comforting and the friendly staff is amazing. Everyone who interacts with patients and their families at Tiffin House is well trained and knows how to provide individualized care with compassion and good humor; the nurses and other medical professionals calmly respond to any situation that may arise quickly and effectively. Tiffin House is the best assisted living/memory care place in Texas, and has been a blessing for my mother and for my family.

We couldn’t have picked a better place than Tiffin House when our 93 year old mom suddenly needed more care than we could give her. The staff are kind, caring, patient, compassionate and attentive. It’s evident that they truly love what they do. I’ve walked in numerous times to find someone tenderly caring for our mom. I’ve watched as other residents get loving and specialized treatment. Each person gets exactly what they need. The residents, as well as their loved ones, are treated like family. The staff takes the time to learn each residents’ personality and what they enjoy. Our mom gets plenty of bird-watching, iced coffee and domino games. Tiffin House is a loving home, not just a business. Our mom is happy here. Tiffin House provides everything our mom needs - routine doctor visits, dental care, podiatrist visits and physical therapy. The doctor and nurse practitioner provide better care than she was receiving before she moved in. They are very knowledgeable and thorough. The physical therapy our mom has received has been amazing - after pneumonia and a shoulder fracture, they have managed to get her taking some steps. It’s all seamless - Tiffin House takes care of setting up the care and communicating so you always know what’s going on. It has been comforting to know that no matter what our mom’s needs are, that she will be taken care of and will never need to find another facility. The level of care she receives far exceeds what our expectations were when she moved in. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s different than other assisted living places. It ALWAYS looks and smells clean. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. The kitchen staff prepares delicious, nutritious meals and accommodates dietary preferences and needs. They have good safety and security features. Justin thought of everything imaginable and he makes sure things run smoothly. He works tirelessly to make upgrades and additions. He treats his staff with respect and appreciation. We looked at many different assisted living places and can’t imagine having our mom anywhere else. I can’t say enough about Tiffin House. If you are looking or think you might need to start looking, don’t hesitate to check it out. You’ll be glad you did.

It was clear to us from our very first visit that Tiffin House was the right place for mom. The interaction between Justin, the owner, the staff and our family was so lighthearted and fun, but the evidence of how much everyone cared about the residents was there. There was never a dull moment anytime we visited. Also, more importantly, thank you to the wonderful staff for the love and kindness you all showed to our mom and us during her time at Tiffin House.
