As a parent of two boys (ages 6 and 10) who attend Flourishing Lives for occupational therapy, I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. We started bringing both of our boys at the beginning of the school year in September, and the growth we’ve seen in such a short time has been incredible. Both of my boys have ADHD, but they were struggling in very different ways. My youngest was having a hard time with emotional regulation, while my oldest struggled more with motor planning and executive functioning skills. When we first came to Flourishing Lives, we were desperate for help as a family and I was just beginning to learn and understand ADHD myself. The timing could not have been better. Not only have my kids benefited tremendously from therapy, but I have learned SO MUCH as a parent along the way. The therapists take the time to explain, support, and give practical strategies that truly make a difference at home AND at school. Every therapist my children have worked with has been kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their success. A special thank you to Lauren, Cara, Alexis, Janie, Morgan, Tina, and Lindsey for being such an important part of my boys journeys and helping them grow and truly flourish! Taking the step to get your child extra support can feel really scary.... but if you’re struggling, I truly encourage you to take that leap. It has made such a positive difference for our family

I can’t say enough good things about Flourishing Lives. I started my son here a few months ago and have seen such an improvement in all areas we discussed. They take time with him, provide helpful tips for at home and make sure every appt is meaningful. My son has always been terrified of the doctor, screaming and crying at every visit. After working with Ms. Lyndsey and Ms.Alexis over the last few months we had a great doctor appt with no screaming and crying.

go Flourishing Lives in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan is outstanding! my 4-year old grandson has thrived and has grown immensely going for occupational therapy. I believe their approach is like receiving multiple therapies (OT and Speech)at the same time in each session. The staff is totally professional and really know how to engage with the child and how to get the child to engage with other children during their session. As a result, the child also learned social skills, enhance their language skills as well as their physical abilities. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility And highly recommend them. we have tried other OT facilities, and other facilities no way compare to the actual excellence of Flourishing Lives. My son has been going to flourishing lives for the past three years. Most of the staff has here has worked with him at one point or another. They are all amazing, patient and kind. Parents, therapists, and kids (if they are able) all have a say in the treatment plans. It is play based and child-led, which I absolutely LOVE. There's no saying where my child's development would be had we not been recommended Flourishing Lives. I recommend to every parent I know that has a child with extra needs.

We love flourishing lives! We've taken both our children here...and the knowledge and expertise of the entire staff (shout out to Mrs Sheena!) is just amazing. My advice to families is to go back with your child and observe what goes on. I've learned so much from doing this and the explanations from the therapists.
