Hardworking and diverse individuals creating a team of compassionate healthcare workers that continously care for their residents. 24/7

Town Square which is owned by Steward has gone through many changes. It is wonderful to see the consistency of care. No other senior community can boast about more than 50% of the staff being in place for over 10 years. Several over 15 years. The love, compassion, and care are outstanding. The food is delicious. While leadership had been a problem in the past they fixed that in 2020. And, guess what community never had one case of COVID-19 - yes, Town Square. All by hard work and design. If you are thinking about moving here or putting a loved one here you can trust as so many have done you will wish you made this decision a long time ago.

I cannot emphasize enough that you go anyplace else as Town Square would be a horrendous choice to put your aging parent. This facility seemed like a great option at first for my mother in law. What we came to later find out was that we were bamboozled that they held the requisite accreditation for Mom to age in place. This of course had some undisclosed conditions which essentially made the notion unadulterated BS. Buyer beware because this experience and con job was exponentially worse than buying a used car. Mom was fine at first as she was fairly mobile and able to easily self-transfer. After about a year Mom’s steady decline was as expected from a 90-year-old. Her decline made it glaringly obvious that the care in this assisted living facility was a far cry from adequate for an aging parent. Many of the staff were rude and inattentive to Moms day to day needs. Often times she would miss meals as she was not informed that her food had arrived. The unresponsive care for Mom frequently left her in her own feces which often resulted in severe rashes. The short falls and inadequacies in Mom’s care were drastically exacerbated when the facility ownership changed hands from Wuestoff to Steward in early 2019. The deplorable care on every level went far beyond the lack of adequate attention. Our bad experiences included an incompetent administration, book keeping, and management as well. On several occasions we received untimely calls that Mom was on her way to the ER. These people were making choices for her health and well-being with highly questionable decision-making capacity. At critical times the phone would go unanswered which is beyond frustrating and 100% unacceptable. When Mom finally declined to the point that they no longer thought they could adequately care for her, the Director mandated that we immediately hire a private 24/7 nurse which was going to cost more than $250 per day. We were fine with the idea she had to move but the upfront misrepresentation and abrupt unilateral decision without any notice was completely unacceptable. Fortunately, we had the ability to quickly remove Mom from this disaster of an assisted living facility and it was the best decision we could possibly have ever made.
