My parents live at traditions at camargo and it gives me a piece of mind knowing they are safe and happy there. The staff warm and welcoming. We searched the city for a place for them to call home & I’m glad we decided at traditions. Russ has been a huge help in organizing this transition. The nurses have been able to take charge and regulate my Mom’s diabetes. I cannot thank them enough!

We have an outstanding activity department. Our activity director goes far beyond her job. She is caring and encouraging to the senior community. Come for a personal visit an experience a truly wonderful senior living community in action.

I do not recommend this facility for your loved one. My father calls for help and I asked the nurse if she could bring him to the dining hall for dinner at 6PM. He had been confined to his lounge chair since 12:00 noon when I brought him back from lunch. My father requested to get coffee in dining hall to be around people. I asked the nurse to take him to dining hall. She said it was closed at 6:30 PM and hung up on me. I have a series of incidents to report to ombudsman.

The turnover rate for the staff is appalling and leads to inconsistent care. In 1.5 years there have been over 5 directors, heads of nursing, and several activity directors. Communication has often been challenging. That being said the current activity director has been very responsive and the current director seems to really care about the residents. The receptionists are fantastic.

My 92 year old mother was a resident in assisted living. She fell three times in less than 24 hours, breaking her ankle in two places. I contracted an increase of her care with the Wellness Director, starting precisely at 2:00 PM. This was for billing accuracy, we would pay more to have someone check on mom every two hours, encourage fluids and change the ice bag on her ankle. Help her to the bathroom. Nobody did so, not once all evening or overnight. After I discovered this and called at 6:00 AM she was checked twice, by an aide looking towards her bed from the doorway. This on video. My mother was in so much pain she needed admission to inpatient hospice. She died there. The Wellness Director said mom received no care overnight because an agency nurse was on duty. The Executive Director said no care was given because of inadequate staff. Traditions only “miss” was failing to inform me nobody would check on my mother overnight. Neither showed any concern. No response at all in regard to the aide only looking from doorway. The administrator above the Executive Director did not reply at all. Traditions failed to provide care, as contracted. My mother suffered as a result.
