Traditions At Solana

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility! The staff here go above and beyond every single day to make sure the residents are cared for, comfortable and truly feel at home. Traditions is a warm welcoming environment where both residents and families are treated like part of one big family- thanks to the entire staff!

Traditions at Solana has been a perfect place for my friends. First, in 2021, then over the past months several other members of our senior citizens group have. The location, size, and waiver capability make for a perfect combination. Plus ,staff and convenience, cleanliness etc.

Moving to TRADITIONS AT SOLANA following the death of my husband of 47 years was the best decision I could have made. The facility is lovely and clean and my apartment is spacious and updated. I no longer have to worry about the increasing personal struggles I was facing OR the many costs associated with living alone because everything here is included in the monthly fee. Nor do I have to worry about cleaning or laundry since a friendly and dedicated staff perform these chores for me. I get 3 nutritious meals a day overseen by our friendly and dedicated food service manager, Monica, and I get as much help as I need. Dana, our lovable and caring transportation manager drives us to and from doctor appointments and on fun outings. The many activities and outings keep me as busy as I want to be. My little dog and I enjoy long walks around the beautifully landscaped grounds where there are several sitting areas to relax and enjoy nice days. There is even a potting table where you can pot your own plants. We have a large pond in front of our facility and White River runs behind us making it a quiet and serene setting. The executive staff is always approachable and eager to help with any questions or concerns. Barb, our activities Director is an incredibly hard working and kind person who seems to work 24 hours a day making sure the residents are busy and happy. And we have a true star on the staff named Tina, our cheerful and loving full-time receptionist who greets everyone who passes through the doors and answers every phone call with her friendly professionalism. She does so much that I couldn’t possibly list everything, but know if a resident needs something, Tina will make sure they get it. Finally, I have met so many lovely and interesting residents from all backgrounds and with so much in common with me. I love them all. Living here has absolutely changed my life: I am no longer lonely or bored and I look forward to each new day. I feel safe and secure and most of all I feel grateful to have found Traditions at Solana.

Earlier this year we moved my mom and stepfather to Traditions at Solana’s Assisted Living from Independent Living in northern Indiana. What makes this community special is the caliber of the staff and their compassion and commitment to their residents. From the director of nursing, to ALL nursing staff, the receptionists, the chef, housekeeping, and maintenance guys, to name a few, the people that work here genuinely care, and it shows. It is comforting to know my mom and stepfather are in good hands. Oh, and the community itself is kept nice and clean with beautiful surroundings and views. The chef prepares well-thought out meals of high quality. I could go on, but the last thing I’ll say is Traditions knows how to plan and throw their social events such as cookouts and celebrations (e.g., Mother's Day) where all the management and senior staff host the party, with extra tasty food and treats! Highly recommend!

It is a warm and caring environment with a great staff. Nursing care is excellent. House keeping staff is very good as well. Transportation is available and Dana is very professional. Tina at the reception desk and Megan, Administrator, have always gone above and beyond.
