Traditions of Athens

Looking for assisted living for my mother in the Athens area. We/She were really impressed with the Goldton and it was not far from her current come and friends. Jill and Terrance were extremely helpful and informative. We were able to have lunch in the dining room and we all enjoyed the meal. Very tasty. Everyone has been friendly and we are looking forward to a positive experience in this next chapter!

The Goldton at Athens gives the best home feeling, the staff, nurse's, ED and office manager are amazing. The actives are always a joy to watch and join in! This place is home with laughter and fun! Very welcoming community! The residents and team members are wonderful, and there’s a real sense of warmth and care. Jessica has made noticeable improvements in the dining experience, which has really elevated the overall atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable and caring environment for your parents or grandparents.

We are very pleased with everything. The tour was beneficial. We got to see our options. Each employee has been kind, considerate, patient, and helpful. When we first entered the facility we noticed it not only looked clean and kept, but it also smelled clean and refreshing. That is so inviting when your senses get a good smell and your eyes get a good view. Another thing noticed was the employees good manners to the residents and their family or visitors. Courtesy really does make a difference. The Goldton at Athens has activities for all that want to participate, trips for those that want to go, and opportunities for all to visit together or to have some relaxing time in their own environment. Each and every worker has been very knowledgeable. They accommodate any special requests or needs that may arise. If they don't know the answer, they have found out for us. A place just feels right when upon arrival workers seem glad to be at The Goldton at Athens.
