I can’t say enough good things about Truewood by Merrill. From the moment we walked in, it felt like more than just a nursing home it felt like a community that truly cares. The staff go above and beyond for their residents, treating everyone with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. You can tell that every nurse, caregiver, and staff member takes pride in what they do. They don’t just provide care they take the time to get to know each resident and make them feel seen and valued. That kind of compassion can’t be faked, and it makes all the difference. The facility is always clean, warm, and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and comforting. Knowing my loved one is in a place where they’re treated like family gives me so much peace of mind. I’m incredibly grateful for the entire team at Truewood by Merrill for the love and dedication they show every single day.

Truewood by Merrill offers a warm, well maintained setting that genuinely prioritizes resident comfort and respect. The grounds are attractive with bright common spaces and nice outdoor areas. What stands out most though is how much praise goes to the administrator, Summer Redwine. Several families mention that she is someone who makes them feel supported and truly cares. Truewood is the best Senior Living facility across Idaho. If I had to choose the best facility for my mom it will definitely be Truewood by Merrill. The staff is so awesome and the way they care for their residents is so caring and loving. The meals taste amazing. The business office director Maria is just wonderful and the administrator Summer is like the sunshine on a cloudy day. The residents can always turn towards them for anything. Thank you Truewood.

I have been here just over a month. All of the staff has been very kind and very helpful. The activities are fun and engaging. I really like the Activity Director Kat and her Assistant Andrew. The food is delicious and the staff is very nice and helpful. The housekeepers are also super nice and helpful. The caregiver team is also very caring and always willing to listen to questions. I also have been able to meet othe residents and make several friendships. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a good caring home for their loved ones.

My sister has been a resident for over 15 months in memory care. I appreciate the round the clock care she receives. The activities director Monica is wonderful and takes pictures of my sister during the month and sends them to her son in Spokane and to myself in Meridian. I try to visit twice a week but sometimes I can't physically. It's great to know she is cared for with kindness and love.
