A very good experience indeed! Lots of friends to make, and activities to do! I miss you all. Changed to Ivybrook and a renovation. Left almost a year ago to live with my oldest daughter. I have not forgotten my friends/family, and I miss you all. So verrrry clean and kind treatment. They don't believe in forcing their will...

Ivybrook is a great building. Gaylen and Dim are both fantastic at what they do! They take great care of the residents here

This place seems to have a lot of staffing issues. The rooms were not consistently cleaned, sometimes the diaper smell was awful. My elder was here for a few years and due to negligence after an Injury he had to be moved to a better facility. This place is very old, bare bones, parking sometimes a challenge when you need a close spot for a walker using person. There is no door close drop off spot. There wasn't enough meat in the meals. I wouldn't choose this place again, but if you have an independent elder, it might work. They are polite, well meaning, but I don't think the care is consistently monitored.

My mother moved to Utah from California about 10 months ago, I didn’t write the review right away, because I wanted to have plenty of time to observe the services provided by the facility. Although I absolutely enjoyed the experiences I had with Dim, the sale manager, who helped me finding the room for my mom, he was so awesome and very professional, he went out of his way to make the accommodation for my mom’s special needs. I am very pleased with the staff (especially Wei Hong and Sherri) and the management team (General Manager Mr. Nate, and Sales Mgr Dim), they are wonderful, always there when I had questions or needed help. They really care about the residents and their families and trying to make the place a home for the residents. The facility is very clean and outside grass always nicely cut. The food are really good most of the time, once in a while, the beef was tough to chew. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility for their elder parents.

Recently I was faced with finding an affordable assisted living facility for a resident/friend at the retirement community I work at. My Executive Director suggested that we check out Truewood. I’m so glad we did! It’s a beautiful facility and very affordable. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Dim gave us a great tour and answered all of our questions, he was very supportive and made the move in process easy and stress free. Gaylen, the Executive Director of Truewood addressed my concerns quickly about the future care and financial needs of my friend. He made sure to give me all the information I needed along with contact numbers for the services we may need in the future. I am very impressed with the way they take care of their residents. My friend is very happy here. Truewood is a fabulous facility!
