didn’t even wanna give Lidia one star. We replaced our mother in here due to dementia. She was on hospice, and when the nurses went out, the nurse caught one of the caregiver yelling at her for saying she liked Trump. The caregivers couldn’t read English and messed up her medicine and told the nurse that she wasn’t allowed to give medication but was the only one at the house watching The residence. Our mother fell more that once and we wasn’t notified that her toe was cut open. I even went to visit her and nothing was said. Lidia is supposed to contact hospice and the family. . Lidia the owner argued that they didn’t know what happen when they even have cameras in the room. When hospice CNA went out to give her the shower, she noticed her toe was badly cut and reported it to the hospice nurse on Tuesday. Then Lidia said Our mother fell on a Sunday When the hospice nurse went out on Tuesday she had to get stitches. They let our mother sit in feces. Caregiver told the hospice CNA that she couldn’t clean her up Then Lidia got mad when it was reported to hospice and wanted the CNA pulled out to not do showers anymore The hospice CNA’s are supposed to report and their notes of everything that happens with the patient while they are there Speaking with the hospice we was Informed that we needed to remove our mother ASAP Lidia could never answer any of hospice questions every time they went out to see Our mother. Medication’s were always messed up And there’s so much more to report. Hospice And alteck had our mother, removed The next day. All tech reported to adult protection services failure to care for an elderly person Lidia lost all our mother’s clothing, her glasses and argued with us about it How can her clothing and personal items be lost when our mother never left the home? Lidia informed us that her roommates drunk son went in and took all of our mother’s items when we asked for her stuff. I would check with adult protection services before placing your loved ones in this home. and from our understanding, Lidia has two homes that she has the elderly people living in The Glendale police report also took a report on how the front windows was opened with no screens and people with dementia was living in his home Due to the all tech contract, Lidia was supposed to refund the $500 deposit and she still hasn’t and told us she won’t so we have to file papers to take her to court. Now that our mother has been removed, she has gained weight. She has not had a UTI and they backed her off on all the meds that Lidia wanted to keep her on. She has not fallen. When at Lidia‘s house, she fell three times due to not having a caregiver to watch her, especially with cameras. The caregiver told us that Our mother wouldn’t let her sleep at night. I would never place a loved one under the care of Lidia due to She does not take care of them and it’s only a paycheck to her. Which she receives 3000 to 5000 for each person living in that home. And still to this day, we never received any of my mother‘s clothing, which she is petite and Lidia wanted to try to give us extra large. They lost her glasses And everything had Our mothers name on them. We would buy her shampoos and soaps, and those were always missing. When transported her medication one of the bottles was empty. Which is funny when hospice would keep her prescriptions updated This is a poor place that adult protection services had to be involved with due to failure of care and The Glendale police report showed that the front windows were open with no screens and people with dementia live there. I would never even place a rat in this home under her Lidia‘s care. Lidia is the rudest person that you could ever dealt with and has no common sense on how to take care of people with dementia. Alteck that’s the state of Arizona reported to adult protection services of elderly Failure to care. Hospice even reported of her failure of care She was also investigated for double dipping in funds Boswell Hospital gave her $5000 until all tech kicked in and Lidia Double dipped

Putting a loved one in a home, no matter the reason, is always hard and pretty scary. You are trusting others to care for someone you treasure, and that's hard. I could not find a home for my step-dad in the town we live in, so I had to look further. That's when we found Vandermeyer Senior Home Care on W. Libby Street in Glendale. The first time I spoke with the owner, I felt we found the right place! That feeling hasn't changed. The home is well taken care of, as are the residents, it's clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, the residents are very happy, open, and friendly. Most importantly, my step-dad is happy, safe, and socializes with the other residents, and they take such good care of him! Thank you so much for all you do, and the professional, loving way you do it!! Teresa ❤️

Vandermeyer Senior Home Care LLC was a true blessing for our family. We entrusted them with the care of my grandmother, and I can’t express enough gratitude for the kindness, patience, and compassion they showed her every single day. From the very beginning, they made the transition as smooth as possible, always taking the time to answer our questions and ensuring we felt comfortable every step of the way. What truly sets them apart is the love and attention they give to each resident. They don’t just provide care—they create a warm, family-like environment where everyone is valued. They spend real quality time with the residents, engage them in meaningful activities, and foster a sense of reassurance and joy. Knowing my grandmother was in such caring hands brought our family so much peace. Lidia and her team have such genuine hearts, and I will always be grateful for the love and care they provided. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated like family, this is it.

This place is great. They took great care of our family member for over three years. Everyone was very kind and caring. Every birthday and holiday was celebrated. They genuinely cared about him and made him feel special and loved. Lydia and each staff member welcomed our family in every way. No one plans on needing end of life care, but this was our best case scenario.

My mother loved all the staff at Vandermeyer especially Lidia. Whenever Lidia entered her room my mother would smile and light up. It was her end of life stage and hospice care was provided but Lidia always went above and beyond staying up all night with my mother, hand feeding her meals, all the while giving her dignity. Nice and caring facility.
