Been there a few times for activities that they were having. Clean, open and fun place to be at. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is warming, relaxing and fun.

I was so impressed with Vassar Comfort Care from the moment I walked in. I arrived at 5 PM, just as the administrator was about to leave, but she greeted me with a warm smile and put everything down to give me a tour. The staff were friendly and welcoming, residents were laughing, and the entire atmosphere felt so comforting. The administrator made what felt like an overwhelming decision so much easier. She answered all my questions with complete honesty and reassurance, making me feel at ease about finding the right place for my loved one. The building was clean and beautifully maintained, and the level of care and compassion was evident. Definitely one of my top choices for quality care! Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited Vassar Comfort Care on 2/25/2024 and was warmly greeted by the friendly staff. The administrator’s door was open, and she took the time to meet with me and even gave me a tour. The facility is clean and beautiful, and the residents were having a great time playing bingo. It was wonderful to see the staff engaging so well with the residents—what really stood out was that the administrator even joined in on a game of bingo! You don’t often see administrators taking the time to participate in activities with residents, and it truly showed how much they care. Vassar Comfort Care is an amazing facility with a dedicated and compassionate team. Highly recommend!

We just recently had our dad moved to Vassar Comfort Care and I do not have words for just how wonderful the staff are! Rita, the administrator, Melissa, the activities director and Kim the nurse are absolutely amazing and treat dad like family! With us being out of state we worried about how we would make sure dad was well taken care of but this staff gives us updates as often as we would like and are extremely patient and caring towards dad even with his communication barriers! We needed a facility who actually cares and feel extremely blessed to have found them! (6 years post stroke, 68yo)

My mom has been at this facility for two years. It is a very pleasant and clean place. We are always greeted at the door with a friendly face. They make it very homey for the residents. We are very happy with the care that she receives. Even though the staff has changed a few times they have always been very good to my mom. We feel very comfortable with the staff and some of them are starting to feel like family. We have gained a great relationship with the aids and are able to reach out to them anytime we feel we need to. A Great place for your loved one if they are not able to be at home.
