Very clean facility and nice staff..

Please do not put your loved one here if the have any medical issues. They do not recognize when someone needs help. My Mom was burning up with fever and when asked to take her temp was told by nurse Madison that they had no working thermometer! She was septic and died a few days later at my sisters home. She missed her house and her little dog. They would tell her “we are your family now” and “this is your home”. Not one person from Villa came to her funeral. This place looks all nice from outside but spend a day there and see how sad all these poor souls are. They do not have enough trained nurses or personnel to run a facility of this size. My Mom fell several times, I have pictures of her poor head the last time she fell, which was the day before she was burning up with fever. Her neighbor across the hall fell and got a brain bleed. You will always see them black and blue with bruises from falling there. For the amount of money you pay they should have enough trained and caring personnel for these elderly, they deserve so much more. All they do is roll them down for 3 meals a day and play silly games. They do their laundry and clean their room but that is it. If they have a medical issue, they have no one to recognize it let alone take their temp!

Villa South provides a siuperior level of care for all residents. They work hard to provide an atmosphere of love, compassion and kindness. They have been a blessing to our family.
