VINTAGE PARK AT OTTAWA

A stage in life where you definitely need help is when you move a loved one into assisted living. It is physically and emotionally challenging to shrink ones kingdom. Vintage Park immediately became our bridge to a new kingdom. Tina and Jodi and their staff of incredibly caring professionals took the reins and made this experience rewarding and made us wonder why we waited to enrich our mothers life! When no one's watching they are walking up and down the halls constantly checking on the welfare of their house guests. Always available and accommodating. Thank you Vintage Park of Ottawa.

From the initial exploratory email and phone call to the facility tour and meeting with administrators, my experience at Vintage Park has been top shelf. Very friendly and very professional. I know that if there is ever a problem regarding my parents who are now residents, I can make a phone call to the very top person in charge to resolve that problem and that gives me great confidence that my parents are in the best place.

My mother has been living here for over a year. The staff have been kind and professional for the most part. My greatest concern is the food. With so many of the residents being diabetic, there are too few options available for them. So many meals are filled with high carbs and processed sugars. I believe this is a corporate level issue.

Overall, a good place; they are caring. The new activity person ( life enhancement director) Sandy is very caring and always tries to involve all residents in all activities. She says she will do something and always follows through. Their nurse Jodi is very professional, compassionate and truly cares for the residents.
