Staff can be rude and do not like to be bothered. cleaning was not always done in rooms, laundry often forgotten. Patients in need of supervision are left to roam the building and enter other patients rooms. Dogs are allowed and they poop in the outdoor courtyard. They create ways to overcharge. Avoid this place!!!!

I highly recommend Virginia Place. A small assisted/ retirement village that is like one big happy family. Brought my mom here & she immediately felt at home. The help is amazing. Lots of fun activities daily. Themed Family dinners monthly. My mom has made friends here. Shes not lonely anymore. She loves it here. If you are in need of help for your aging relative, this is the place. Come check it out. You'll be happy you did.

I have lived at Virginia Place since Oct. 2019 and should have done it sooner. I lived by myself and was lonely. Now I have lot of Activiies, friends and have to rely less on my family to help me. I am able to have my dog which makes me happy and the other residents love her. The staff is wonderful and helps me all the time.

If family complains about anything, it will be taken out on your loved one. They will be ignored by staff. The smell of urine is constant unless they are planning an event, then it smells good. Staff is allowed to do whatever they want. They put on a great show of caring when you first go, there but that doesn't last long. They charge a fortune for sub par care. They just want your money. I would avoid this place.

Upon visits with my 93 year old father I’m always greeted with acknowledgement and smiles. I’m welcomed to dine with my dad at any moments notice and enjoy those times immensely. The staff is willing to provide whatever your accommodation requests may be, to the very best of their abilities, which does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. And the facility itself is always in pristine order. Much care is taken in maintaining not only the building, but those who reside there as well. When your folks must leave their residence of decades, all their belongings and memories, it’s good to know there’s a spot like Virginia Place to create new ones. A very pleasant home away from home.
