The staff here is incredibly pleasant, well organized, and super helpful. They always responded quickly and thoroughly to all of my questions. I especially want to thank Jennell, who I worked with throughout the entire process for my event. I rented the venue during a holiday week, and she went above and beyond by allowing me early access to the building days in advance so I could decorate and set up. That flexibility made my holiday and event completely stress-free. I truly appreciated her support and professionalism. Highly recommend this venue

Camped here for the last 20 years, mostly because you don’t need reservations. They recently changed the rates from 20.00 a night to 40.00. Holy WOW. There is old 30 amp service. Lots of highway noise, you camp on blacktop because the grassy sites are wet and you’ll get stuck. Use to have picnic tables, trash cans , trees/shade BUT they have all been removed ????? Not sure how they justify doubling there rates. 1 shower in the cold bathrooms They have added gates/fencing so you can no longer walk to shopping across the street. Lots of cameras We will never be back. GREED :(

Today 12/03/23 we had an event at the Manitowoc Expo center. Let's just say when we arrived it was total chaos. The event planners totally had their hands full. They did their bet to help those of us coming in the door, but had no real plan set when we arrived. Just pick a space we were told. As we were beginning to set up, we were asked to move from the space we chose because we had racks to display our hanging items. They preferred we where against the wall. Ok, we moved. Set up went on, but we froze half to death in the venue. I have never participated in an indoor event that we needed blankets because it was so cold inside. About two hours maybe less, before we packed up to go, we finally had heat. I don't think this is on the ladies who planned this event. I think this is on the venue owner's. The weather outside was frightful. So that my have been the reason for a poor turnout, and I don't think more then a handful of vendors made their money back for the space rented. First show I have ever done where I did not a least make the money back to pay for my space. I am not sure if I will travel an hour and a half again to make nothing, NO negative nothing, and then freeze 90% of the time there INSIDE. To the two ladies who put the show together, KUDOS to you, as far as doing your best to get the show out on FB and promote. I think you did a fine job as far as that goes. You can't predict the weather so that's not on you either, but you may want to rethink the venue for next year. If the venue can't provide heat for the event till it's almost over, I would relocate. 2 stars because I lost $$ and I froze almost the whole while I was there.

We attended the county fair and it was excellent. The fair was priced very reasonable, the rides were excellent, there were tons of different food vendors and the grand stand events were decent. This was one of the best fairs in the state for $10/person which includes all you can ride & the grand stand events. The fair did get very busy after 5:00, so waiting for 30 minutes for a ride was typical.
