First time visit, staff was very friendly and helpful to our friend that was there in the assisted living. Very nice building.

My 107 yr. old, highly intelligent, mentally alert, physically disabled mother has been a resident of the assisted living care center at Valley VNA for 31/2 years. She has had a number of negative experiences. Her leg has been cut 5 times on her wheelchair. She has had many bruises on her arms and hands. Male residents have entered her apartment to take candy, and use her bathroom. She was the victim of two thefts, money and jewelry. Other belongings have disappeared. Her mail has been opened. She has no control over where she sits for meals or bedtime. After 31/2 years of sleeping in the same bed, she was told her bed was too high so part of it was removed to make it easier for the caregivers to transfer her. As a result of this last incident, she feels she is a burden to the caregivers. She pays $8649 monthly to live at the Valley VNA with no control over her life no respect, and no safety.

My grandma was a recent resident of the Valley VNA. I cannot put into words how incredibly thankful we are for the care she received. The staff at the Valley VNA treated my grandma with such compassion and really made her feel like family. The staff is extremely well trained and was prepared for every situation that arose as my grandma’s needs changed. The relationship the administration and staff built with my family was amazing as well. As a visitor of the VNA, I could see the love each staff member has within the VNA… from the young kids in the kitchen, to the absolutely amazing nurses, right up to the administration and management. The teamwork between all team members was very obvious as well. The comfort we felt with my grandma residing at the VNA was a great feeling. I would recommend this care center to everyone. Thank you to everyone at the Valley VNA!

Valley VNA believes everyone has the right to grow old gracefully, joyfully, and with dignity. Valley VNA exhibits this every day, every second. At Valley VNA, you are among the best of humanity. The caregivers and all the staff are dedicated to providing the best compassionate care with a lot of fun mixed in. There are so many activities for both In-Home Care clients and residents who live in the Assisted Living (CBRF) and Apartments. Lyrics and Laughter is probably the most popular one and even the community is invited to attend. There are a lot of other community events! Valley VNA has a specialty in memory/dementia care. All the employees are well trained on a continuous basis. Valley VNA is a trusted senior resource for the surrounding community and has been for over 100 years. It is delightful, for all clients, residents, associates, employees and the like, to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.
