The wonderful people here took gentle care of my first generation Japanese mom in her final years. As she aged, she spoke Japanese more and they provided Japanese food and activities and tv. She moved there from a much larger retirement complex in Oakland which could not provide the level of attention and nurturing care she needed. The Wagaya home is snug and cozy and filled with the kindest caregivers, just what my mom, and my siblings, needed and wanted.
