I’ve been going here for years. My primary care physician left the practice so I had to choose another doctor. Dr Ball is efficient and caring physician. The staff is top notch.

The incompetence of this office and my physician almost made me lose my sanity. To be fair the office staff is most likely overworked and underpaid as all Mainehealth facilities are, so of course, the brunt of this blame belongs on the docs and admin approving these nightmare situations. From day 1 this office got all my Maine community health options information incorrect. Didn't matter that I filled out all my paperwork properly and returned to their office twice with my Community health options card. They still never billed the insurer correctly and to make matters worse NEVER informed me - my first appt with Dr Stahling was an outrageous 650 bucks made worse when inaccurate submitted info wouldn't allow it to be covered. Stahling was a flighty, always exhausted new doc - if she told me one more time her new husband said she worked “too much” I thought I would scream. This youngster didn't realize we ALL work hard and maybe she quiet down on being worked like a dog as a hospitalist as it did not induce confidence in her skills. Is this what every patient wants? A newbie exhausted doc who doesn't bother to question why their patient's account has a 650 dollar red flag?? Could that be bothered to be addressed or explained? Apparently not. Doc Stahling knew about finances, of course, all docs do now- they are business people for the monopolies they serve. Every single time I mentioned any type of service I might be interested in the very first thing Doc Stahling checked was if it was covered. Too bad she never ever ever asked me once, not once, why the bills I was incurring were not being paid. Apparently it wasn't her concern in getting my bills paid just adding to them. I will relay one important event however because it was the catalyst for me leaving this practice and hiring my own concierge physician. My cholesterol was very high - that is a fact - it was a non fasting reading however. Of course, old medicine, speaking with the patient and their history is passe, so the treatment of choice is a pill. So easy peasy right, Doc Stahling? Doc Stahling wasn't interested in hearing the side effects my mother had on statins - didn't even factor in - as soon i told her i wouldn't be taking a statin the entire tone changed. NON compliance was the new problem. When I queried she said snidely “well you won't take a statin so…” end of conversation and civility. HERE is the take away i hope the reader gets - if you are looking for a new healthcare provider to actually provide time effort and understanding you may want to know this: after hiring a concierge doc and discovering a statin would have been of no use, at all, in lowering my cholesterol - even with the fees associated with paying out of pocket i STILL HAD NOT spent the $650 bucks i accrued from the very 1st visit with MaineHealth - Do the math: 360 bucks a month for Community Health Options - $650 bucks for 1 visit because no one bothered to actually assign my healthcare information to my record -1,010 dollars - for basically nothing - just confusion and heartache and a stern warning that i shouldn't try to participate in my own healthcare ….Then i hired a concierge doctor - a certain number of visits - with no time limit - no stop watch - - so after 2 visits and some lab work my new doc explained that research had discovered that a heart CT would be helpful to determine if a Statin would EVEN help my type of cholesterol elevation. $160 for registration, $80 for a month of visits, $45 for lab costs and $300 out of pocket for a 1.5 hour drive to western Maine to discover that A STATIN WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY USELESS FOR MY CHOLESTEROL ISSUE. A better diet and supplement such as fish oil would be of more value - so after spending $585 dollars - I was listened to, supported and validated - with a new diet my cholesterol lowered to a normal range. I was not subjected to statins that would be a new expense, a new side effect and most importantly - of no use to me and my body. mainehealth has monopolized healthcare to make nepo kids rich. look elsewhere .

I have been getting my healthcare with Lincoln Medical Partners for about five years with good care and experiences during this time with three different doctors as my primary care doctor retired, and I was offered my choice of a new doctor. Over my lifetime, I have been served by many medical staff. Lincoln Medical Partners provides care equal to or better than my past experiences.

The nurse literally stabbed herself while taking my husbands blood. They NEVER know the answer to anything. Paper work and prescriptions take forever to get and every time we call its like they've never even heard of us before when we just called a day prior asking for the same thing. It's a new doctor every single visit and they know nothing about medical history because of it so visits take forever or are completely useless. Would never recommend for anyone.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Rudest nurses, mean and uncaring. These are a few of the words I would use to describe them. My baby boy had to use the bathroom and the nurse suggested we use the portapotty!! These people are something else. No one has much good to say about them. Never ever will I recommend them.
