WALTON PLACE

My dad recently moved in and I am BEYOND thankful for the amazing staff here! They have made this scary transition so easy for all of us. We are not treated like a number, rather they treat us like family. They keep the facility clean and offer so many fun things for the residents to do. I could not be more grateful for this place!

My grandpa has been living in the memory unit at Walton place for a couple months now. The staff is so friendly and seem to take very good care of the residents. It’s always clean and tidy. The kitchen staff is excellent as well and very accommodating. We took our grandpa out of the memory care for the 4th of July and they set us up with a delicious food spread in the conference room. So very sweet and caring!

My husband has spent a little over a month here.....and has been well cared for. The biggest surprise, is how well the staff has cared for our family, ❤️. We are welcome to eat in their dining room, with hubby. Terrific, healthy meals. ❤️. It feels just like home. We love you all❤️

My husband and I are co-power of attorney for my husband's sister Joanne. We placed her at Walton Place assisted-living in Tarpon Springs, Florida in February 2024. Our experience as co-power of attorney and Joanne's experience as the resident has been amazing and awesome. The staff treats Joanne with dignity and respect as well as providing compassionate care. I worked in healthcare for 44 years and the staff is very genuine, informative, and communicates very well with Joanne and us. They encourage Joanne to participate in all activities. They make sure that she's dressed every day in clean clothes and attends meals with other residents. Their activities are interactive and hands-on. They have a variety of activities such as music, baking, crafts, nail care, trivia and other games that promote mental stimulation. The environment is welcoming (reception area, dining room, hallways, and community rooms) and Joanne's room is always clean. We have have had several meals with Joanne at Walton Place and I found them very good and well balanced. They also have alternate choices if a resident doesn't like the particular meal they're serving that day. I will mention that the dietary staff that serves the residence are awesome. They really know what the resident like to eat and appropriately jokes with the resident bringing a smile and laughter to their face. I appreciate that Walton Place has several areas where they have fresh fruit, water, and snacks for residents. We feel very fortunate that we found Walton Place after searching for four weeks. The Director, assistant, Director, reception staff, and activities, Director, as well as the hands-on staff communicate candidly pertinent information to us so we can make good decisions for Joanne. Joanne spent a few days in the hospital and I was touched when I popped in to get some clothing from her room that several hands on staff came into the room hoping that it was Joanne back. I am hesitant to name anyone person because I have not met one person that hasn't been exceptional to Joanne or my husband and I as family members. I don't want to accidentally forget someone. However, a big shout out to Roy, the Director and Linda the Activities Director and Thank You for helping us with the hard decisions we had to make for Joanne.

My grandma has been at Walton Place for about four months now. The care has been excellent from day one! She is in memory care and the staff could not be any better! They are always so caring and efficient. They work so hard but always have time to give a hug or talk to the residents. The food looks very good and my grandma seems to enjoy it. The kitchen staff is very helpful and kind. The activities are fun and they all seem to enjoy it. My grandma loves to sing and dance! The activity director and assistants pay so much attention to the residents. The whole staff is amazing! Always greeted the second you walk in the door. I can’t say enough good things about Walton place!
